What is everyone doing this weekend?

I am going to try and make boiled peanuts now that I've found some raw peanuts to try with! I think my sisters want to play Fortnite so I'll probably do a bit of that. Otherwise, staying indoors because it got cold again. :(

We're switching from dish to cable so we'll see if our TVs work. I'm going to sign up for Fandom 5K and hopefully finish my current exchange fic before assignments go out.

Oh no, when will the cable people be there? I can only assume it is some time between Saturday at 7am and Sunday 8pm. :P

Nothing. Still on semi-bed rest. Think I'll watch some So YOu Think You Can Dance. Maybe some Castle or Nikita. And I've found my ebook copies of the Goosbumps books, so going to read some of those. Also, obviously, watching Even HOrizon.

Working thru Monday, full 8-hour shifts each day. Sigh. But I did get extra hours and I've been wanting that, so I can't complain.

That sucks, I hope your work feels like it is going by fast at least.

I'll be helping out with the annual station walk. People walk in teams of 4-6 över a distance of almost 10km. Salong the way they solve puzzles and challenges.

Om sunday night I'm going to see Allegaeon and Ne Obliviscaris in concert.

They are raw peanuts cooked by boiling with a lot of salt. In SC, you can find stands on the side of the road of people selling them from HUGE boiling pots. You can eat them hot or cold.

Wow, that sounds like a lot of fun! Is it for some kind of charity?

I might try that if I can find raw ones.

It's a lot of fun. I've participated both in a team and as a volunteer before. It's by/for the local sports club.

1) recover from a stupidly dreadful cold
2) open up and do culinary magic with an ostrich egg.

Tomorrow is the last day of Passover so I'll be putting away all my Passover stuff.

Sunday I'm going to see Love Simon with someone I know from Facebook. It's kind of nice to not have to go to the movies by myself.

I hope you and your friend enjoy the movie!

I'm gonna go buy stamps because an estranged friend reached out through snail mail and I so need to write him back.

Exciting! Getting actual mailed letters is always nice.
