You HAVE to live as that animal for the average natural lifespan of that animal. Do you pick a short lived animal to become human soon? Do you pick a long lived animal to go into the future? or do you pick an animal just based on wanting to be that animal?

Pet parrot in the house of someone very intelligent and cultured, bonus points if good with money, so I can spend ~100 years being pampered, but also absorbing useful information for my return to humanity.

I like comic book movies and the superhero genre just fine. I'm not the kind of person who thinks they should all die or are terrible or whatever.

But I am really uninterested in this movie, which is atypical for me.

Yeah same

I feel like, personally, I like superhero movies when they're weird, or stylish, or interesting. Whereas the vibe I get with Infinity War is that it's wall-to-wall superhero fighting and metaplot. Which are aspects that I just fundamentally don't care about.

Mega-crossovers are one of the things I hate about DC/Marvel publishing, and the movie versions (Age of Ultron, Civil War) were even more stupid than their "Reed and Tony fuck up the world" origins. I honestly didn't think that was even possible.

Weekend Plans?

What are everyone's plans this weekend?

I am going to be making a GIFset that can hopefully be done tomorrow. I also plan on playing more of The Witness. I have 3 beacons lit so far. Other than that, I might tin foil my windows now that summer is here and the neighbors chopped down the trees that were providing me with shade. :(

Also going to be discussing Zodiac tomorrow for the Movie Club!

Happy Star Wars Day, for those of you still in the 4th. My strange and painful combination of worship and jealousy of Carrie Fisher is rearing its head. I have this irrational sadness over the fact that she'll never read my autobiography. I haven't written it yet, but I plan to, and I yearn for her to see it and tell me...well, the thing I most yearn to hear from her is that I remind her of herself. I identify with her really strongly and that's part of why I envy her so much. I think this is the first time I've actually kind of hoped there's an afterlife, even though it would be a very big place and she wouldn't have any reason to notice my existence even if we met up.

Not to give details yet, but I'm also involved in a Star Wars fan project, my role in which is heavily focused on Princess Leia, and I also really wish she could see that when it's finished and turn out to be pleased with my work.
