Tell us what's up!

I had a lot planned for today, like going to the grocery store and a couple of other errands, but I'm just not feeling it, so I got dressed and went to Starbucks and that's about it. I'm taking a rest day, I suppose.

Work was fine, but I found out my favorite show, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, got cancelled when I got home, so now I'm just... staring out the window blankly. :(

Work wasn't too much fun, but that's done for the day and I'm feeling nice and relaxed. We're celebrating Mother's Day today and I got my mom some orchids and a bag she's been wanting. We're gonna go out to eat in about an hour.

Meh.

I finally got my last name changed on my driver's license-- and the picture wasn't horrible-- I haven't had a non-horrible ID photo since I was 18, I am totally stoked about it.

Busy. So, so busy. And so much data entry.

Also, I hate calorie counting. I always feel hungry :

Eh. Had a migraine for most of the day. Worked for 4 hours, and the free time I had has been spent on Flight Rising. Help, I'm obsessed again.

Wife's aunt who she was super close to died overnight suddenly. We're both devastated. She didn't initially Get the LGBT thing (a lot of the more oblivious "but who's the man in the relationship" stuff, which we gave her because she wasn't fully mentally there and over 50 with a family history of various mental illnesses and she WAS actually trying), but she loved me like her niece so it's sad to hear.

It's pretty good! I just went for a job and now I'm going to start studying for my exams. Gonna spend most of the day in the library probably

Still have a cold and I got a stiff neck from all the coughing and it hurts - especially when I have to cough/sneeze. It also made my tinnitus come back. So annoying.

I went to see Infinity War on Sunday and days later I'm still so *in my feelings* which I did not expect, since I'm such a casual MCU fan, don't really have any favorite characters, hadn't seen all the movies (including Civil War, Spiderman Homecoming, and Black Panther), and I had spoiled myself rotten before hand.

Otherwise, it's all cool. Work suddenly got a lot less stressful yesterday compared to the last few months. I just finished and turned in a big project! There will be edits to do soon, but I can relax for a few days at least.

It was okay until I just checked my work email and there was a message from my principal that the 20 year old son of one of my coworkers died in an accident today. No word on what happened as yet. He was also a student at the same school my first year there. This sucks; I won't be surprised if she is out for the rest of the school year (we go to the end of June).

My gallbladder might not be working properly and I need more tests.
I thought this wasn't supposed to happen until I was 90.

Got the last portion of my dental work done and the nitrous actually helped this time! When I went in on Tuesday they had it up to maximum and I could barely tell it was even there. Didn't help at all. Unfortunately, I've developed a high resistance to that sort of thing over the years. There was a time when say, half a teaspoon of Nyquil would have me out cold for twelve hours, but now even a full dose doesn't make me the slightest bit drowsy. Dunno why. Anyway, I think the reason the gas actually affected me today was 'cause I intentionally deprived myself of sleep last night and all day today before my appointment in order to weaken my resistance to it. Thankfully, it worked, and as a bonus, I may actually get to sleep at a reasonable hour tonight! Fingers crossed, eh?

I had a panic/anxiety attack this evening, which wasn't fun so I'm going to go to bed and maybe watch some Eurovision on youtube and hope that sleep will make me feel better.

Still sick, didn’t get to go to breakfast with my uncle and his husband. Walked down to meet them after breakfast, which was the most exercise I’ve had since last week because flu sucks. I was coughing and blowing my nose constantly, so I only got to talk with them a little bit before going home. I hope they had a good day. I mostly napped. Blech, I hate being sick.

I saw adorable, adorable puppies today! Chief said we had to visit the puppies and give them some attention, so we did. ADORABLE! Made my afternoon. :D

I love all kinds of cookies, but if I had to pick a favorite, it would be white chocolate craisin.
