If the fact that it's a secret is irrelevant to someone's reaction to it, then why reply to that reaction pointing out that it's a secret? What's it matter that someone submitted it as a secret? Why bother pointing that out? What are you trying to do here?

If your secret is that you repeatedly choose to hurt and betray people who love and trust you, and therefore you simply adore it when you see this behavior depicted in fiction because you find it relatable and sexy, then yes, you should be shamed for that, because it's despicable.
