In my experience people who belittle cheating tend to be cheaters themselves, but *shrug*

I think it's completely fair to demonize the act of betraying the trust of a loved one. Bold stance, I know. Just because it's technically legal doesn't make it any less traumatizing.

Kind of a stretch to assume I equate cheating with rape or murder. The point is that cheating is an asshole thing to do, especially nowadays when there's open/poly relationships commonly catering to different needs. I sure as hell wouldn't date anyone who thinks cheating ain't a big deal.
