I'm really scared I'm going to lose my job. My boss has been giving me advice that I've been doing some things wrong and have to do more, such as being more of a supervisor. And I don't even know if I can do it. I've been working there for years but they're clearly not satisfied with my work now and they have fired people before who had been there for years. I have to go to work tomorrow and do my best but I'm just terrified of going. (I'm not saying I'm not listening to my boss and trying to do what he says - I absolutely am, and what he's asking is part of my job. But I'm not sure I can fulfill his expectations and I'm so scared.)

I'm really sorry. Stuff like this is so stressful. It sounds like you've already started planning on how to rectify the issues your boss brought up. Be sure to keep track of the new changes in case you have to list them and remember that there's a certain amount of "fake it till you make it" in this. Try to appear confident and proactive even if you don't feel like it. And continue being nice, reliable, punctual and everything else.

But polish up your resume, just in case.

I hate region-locking too. I want to support the creators and whatnot, but I can't do it if the stuff literally isn't available in my country.

So - what people should do is make a Netflix 'community' - share netflix log ons and passwords with friends in other countries so everybody can see everything.

Would that work? I'm not sure if it would with the comment up-thread about VPNs, but it'd be cool if it did.

I run into that problem when I want to download music from amazon.de. (I'm in the U.S.) I can't download songs even though I could buy a CD with the same songs and have it shipped to me and that would be fine.

U.S. iTunes usually has what I want but not always and it is frustrating. It should be my worst problem I guess.

I want to buy my plane tickets and hotel but the internet says I should wait to buy the plane tickets 3 months from the trip and the hotel 1 month from the trip for cheapest costs. BUT WHAT IF I CAN'T GET A GOOD EARLY FLIGHT? Or the hotel I want to be at. D:::::::

I'm on day two of a period-related massive headache/nausea combination of hell. Spent most of yesterday night vomiting my guts out. Everybody keeps smirking because they're convinced I'm hungover. Yeah. Sure. This is all from the single glass of champagne I had at my friend's wedding yesterday morning. :( I don't wanna have to tell people about my uterus to get them to lay off and let me try to recover in peace instead of teasingly asking if I'm "recovered from the party yet". Bah.

There's a con I reeeealllyyyyy want to go to this fall but I live in Michigan and the con is in Vancouver, aka other side of the continent, which means I'd have to pay for plane ticket and hotel room as well and I already know I won't be able to afford that. There's no guarantee it'll be on next year, either, so I have no idea if I'll get a chance to go then either even if I have more $ then.

I keep getting shitty anons on tumblr. I keep blocking the blogs who message me, but then I started getting logged in hate. I have no idea what I did to deserve it. I'm fine, but it's just really annoying and unnecessary. :/

Popped a fucking tire today while pulling into a place of business. Of course it had to be on a Sunday, when the tire repair places are closed. Thankfully I had roadside service and was able to drive home. Had plans to go out of town on my day off but it doesn't look like that will happen now. But maybe that's a good thing, since I need maintenance soon.

I told a writer they kept marking their fic as 'updated' when they meant to mark it as 'edited' (I mean, I assumed they meant to mark it as edited, since that's... what they did), and they did the 'you're PATHETIC how DARE you I SLAVE over a HOT KEYBOARD and get NO GRATITUDE' and I'm just... you write fanfic of your own free will. You post it of your own free will. Nothing about that exempts you from having your cockups pointed out. Seriously.
