Maybe it just feels overwhelming to OP because all the recs they get are ABO. Or maybe a bulk of the newer fics have ABO in them.

People are fucking terrible. I feel bad for that artist.

One of my favorite ships is a rarepair and it really bums me out that I can't find a lot of fic. I'm writing some fic for it now, but it's not as fun to write it as it would be to stumble upon it.

Did you filter only to explicit fics? Recent fics? Fics of the OP's pairing/OT3? No? Then you don't know the actual percentage, not even going into timing.

That's how I felt with all of the fluffy Will/Hannibal for Hannibal.

That sucks and I'm sorry. :( My spouse is a pharmacist and I'm not surprised, though. Independent pharmacies find it really hard to compete against the big chains, because the big chains keep under-staffing the stores and pushing their employees to fill scripts as fast as possible even though that puts a lot of stress on them AND increases the risk of mistakes.

There was a sock stuck to the underside of the bottom sheet when I re-made my bed this weekend. I didn't notice for a couple of days. Now I can feel the lump but I'm too lazy to take the sheet off and get the sock out.

Disney knew what they were doing when hiring Gunn. He started his career working with troma films who's bread and butter is shock humor. Not only that, Disney was *aware* of the controversial shit he did and gunn had disclosed and apologized for them. Likewise, the idea that people can't change is ridiculous, yes he may have been a grown ass man who should have known better but the political climate 10 years ago was very different and his support of Selma Blair and other actresses says more than some 10+ old tweets. Disney also ain't shit because they continue to work with josh brolin and depp who are actual wife beaters as opposed to shitty offensive jokes. And finally, caving to an actual alt-right movement with literal neo-nazis and an ACTUAL defender of rape and pedophilia is a 100x times worse than gunn's offensive tweets and anyone who thinks "good" lacks nuance.

LYRICS. FUCKING LYRICS. I forgot how much I dislike seeing them in fic. the most I can tolerate (fanmixes do not count) is a chapter named after the song and/or the italicized line you feel is so relevant to the story atm.

The only Abba song I like is "Take a Chance On Me," and even then I only like the Erasure cover. I also thought Mama Mia was a terrible movie with terrible singing. Apparently that makes me terrible at being a lesbian. I'm pretty sure that if I admitted this on Tumblr, I'd lose like 80% of my followers (even the pornbots) within seconds of posting it.

I used to watch Jenna all the time, but I have found the a lot of the new videos (with this boyfriend dude) to be too much. Just the usual trashy Youtube crap. I'll still watch the odd one, but they don't seem as unique as they used to be.

Actually, on Tumblr, mlm means chicks pretending to be gay softbois uwu in totally male gay relationships with each other.

(I liked the Ahsoka novel well enough and I'm glad I read it but it didn't feel....consequential....? to me? I'm not sure...but I really haven't gotten particularly invested in any of the new SW novels I've read)

I just ran across A/B/O fanart for Anakin/Obi-Wan on tumblr in the Anakin tag and was rather weirded out by the pregnant!Anakin belly.

I mean...it wasn't explicit or anything it was just surprising to suddenly have pop up on my dash as I was scrolling.

I've seen more than a few A/B/O fics pop up there too. Often with Obi-Wan as the Omega and Anakin as the Alpha (probably the other reason this fanart was surprising to me, hahah).

I've got nothing against Reylo as a concept (I'm not into it, but you do you, folks) but I'm getting really tired of these Rey/Kylo ~*~*~*parallels~*~*~* to Anakin/Padme posts (image sets mostly) showing up in the Anakin tag.

Especially when they aren't even good parallels.

Hey, thanks. I only took a quick look before for the "worst" collection and I just...wasn't outraged. Gross, yes; someone I don't want to personally talk to (at the time those Tweets were being made anyway), yes. But irredeemable actual pedophile? No.

Looking at the more collected version on that post, I'm still not outraged. Not amused, but. That's that.

Funny, I hold back because I fear anyone else IRL is just a "trendy" fan trying to flaunt their nerd cred and I can't rely on them to fangirl with them. I just have to play it cool to the point of frustration (which is stupid as fuck -- why am acting like this, and who the hell cares who likes what at whatever point in time? Then again, it probably would suck finding "fan" friends only to lose them months later because that's all you had in common).

This is probably why I don't have any real friends.
