I kinda think, if you're widely disliked and have bad publicity and everyone thinks you're a skeev, that's going to happen? I'm not sure what you want people to do differently. If they don't like the guy, then they don't wanna watch stuff with him voicing.

Unless you follow anime news, the average anime watcher maybe hasn't even heard of this scandal. And honestly, there's a difference between him not getting cast, and him getting fired from roles he has already been voicing.
