(Anonymous) 2019-02-20 01:13 am (UTC)(link)You can hope all you want that your third-party vote means something, but in my experience, it's about as useful as voting for the Green Party in Canada and actually thinking they'll get into power.
Re: Democratic Nominees
(Anonymous) 2019-02-20 01:22 am (UTC)(link)However, everyone here who is rushing to snarkily tell a third party voter that they shouldn't vote at all is a terrible strategy to get them to vote the way you wish they would. The online left has serious issues with dealing with moderates and the disenfranchised. I commented in hopes to point that out.

(Anonymous) 2019-02-20 01:32 am (UTC)(link)The moderate Democratic Party establishment also has some pretty severe issues with yelling at left voters for being 'disloyal' so I'm not quite sure what to tell you.

I agree 100%. According to the online left, there aren't actually "moderates." There are only good people and Republicans. That mentality doesn't help anyone.

(Anonymous) 2019-02-20 01:58 am (UTC)(link)Re: Democratic Nominees
Acting like "Well the default is voting for my guy, so anyone who isn't voting for my guy is voting for the other guy" is just arrogance. A problem that - for all trumps noted ego - the left has in spades
