Me too. I am a huge fan of young JD's work but from everything that has come out they both look like abusive fucks. Maybe he started it or maybe she did but both abused the other and it doesn't excuse either's behavior.

But still can. I dunno about you, but most of us don't know these people personally and jumping to conclusions about their personal lives seems rather hasty. It's better judge on an individual basis after the facts have come out than make a mistake about something as serious as abuse.

I met ninety6tears two summers ago in South Virginia and she all of a sudden knocked me down and started kicking me in the face. Some bystanders had to intervene and I suffered a major concussion.

I have no dog in this fight. However I don't think anything can redeem Depp in my eyes. Even if he was abused he also seems like a shitty person to work with and be in a relationship with.

I feel like people try to over simplify shit and argue over who is worse, but there are so many mutually abusive relationships. Now it just seems like stans and anti's are just caught up in their own biases that they can't admit maybe both parties are shit.

Yeah...unfortunately any revelation that she might be a terrible person doesn't erase the years of unpleasant behavior on his part, things he did looong before they even met.

But it never seems to matter how awful both parties are, if a woman accusing a man of something turns out to be less than a paragon of virtue herself, people see that as automatically invalidating her side of things.

"It no longer matters that you were lured to a hotel room and violently assaulted by a movie executive who had a pattern of doing this to women for years with a pre meditated routine, you had sex with a 17 year old one time".
