You DO realise that being an AUSTRALIAN band, voting "republican" refers to them voting for Australia to become a republic in our possibly-forthcoming referendum.

Considering that the majority of Australian "republicans" are "liberal" (small-l there), they would probably vote for the Democrats if they were American.

Why does everyone always bring up the Mormonism? Can't we just say she's a bad writer and leave it at that? Her religion has little to do with her books. People don't go around insulting Catholic or Protestant writers' work for their religion, unless they're huge twats.

Mormonism is heavily laced into the Twilight books, in my opinion, so that is why it is always brought up. And she makes it clear in interviews that she is a religious person, which is basically going to cause discussion. I don't see how it's wrong to look at Twilight from a critical perspective and examine the BLATANT influences.

Rob is just being critical of the character he portrays. What's wrong with that? He studied the character for his role and has a many-layered understanding of Edward. I don't see how it's ungrateful. At all.
Also, he has said a lot of positive things about his role, but people seem to only care about the negative.

I discovered Starsky & Hutch in 2005 through the DVDs. They turned me into a one-fandom-girl and a die-hard slash fan. They're my OTP.
There are a lot of younger fans in their 20s in this fandom, nothing to be ashamed of. It's not the car, it's not the clothes, it's not their policework - it's their love for each other, whether you see them as friends or lovers doesn't really matter.

Truth. Misguided, but not evil. They did the best they could in their situations. I find Ougi more forgivable though since he truly had no clue of the horrible things that Zero was doing, whereas Rossiu knew about everything that happened.
