When people around me say their band name with ease, there's no way my mind doesn't go 'i' -> 'y'. But when I avoid saying the band name of doom at all cost, people start questioning me why, and it's not like sweet!innocent!me can go explaining that people have other meanings for a similar sounding slang in English.
