Not hated, but I'm not a huge fan of Thor's new look in Ragnarok. I miss the long hair. He looks so much better with long hair. And the fat Thor of Endgame was worse. I want my hot Thor back.

It is pretty universally agreed that the Captain America look in the Avengers is awful.

I also hated Thor's bleached eyebrows in the first movie. And I hate all of Loki's hairstyles post the first Thor. It just looks so greasy.

ST:TNG definitely ended on a high note. I was a total trekkie nerd, and was so surprised when random, non-nerd people in my life were suddenly lamenting that this syndicated scifi show was going off the air because they liked it so much! Go TNG!

I think Lost ended at the right time, because while I know a lot of people got tired and bailed before then, it obviously couldn't have gone longer!

One of my cats smeared poop halfway across the bathroom floor and puked up a hairball in the hall outside the bathroom. That was "fun" to clean up.

My cat is remarkably clean. But she does think paper is a toy. So her worst messes are when she finds a stash of paper and tears it up into little pieces.

Awwww. One of my friend's cats had diarrhea and was running around the apartment trying to find the litterbox (but she already knew where it was! It was never moved!) and was smearing shit all along the lower half of the walls and panting. She was acting so weird. We put her in the bedroom with the air conditioner and she calmed down after an hour or so.

I have been very lucky because my cat never made big messes! The only thing I can think of is when she kept peeing on her blankets before she eventually passed away. I would wash them and she would pee on them again in less than 8 hours time. This was, like, in a ten-day timespan. Oh! She threw up in three places in my living room in one day and made a tiny poop on the floor (luckily, I was home to witness everything) but even the puke wasn't a major mess. (Her messes were rare and small.) She was very good about going in the litterbox. Never really had any misses, she was such a good girl with that. I miss her.

I put my puppy in the bathroom with her crate and toys while I went out for a couple of hours, and she pooped and stepped in it, and then smeared it all over the walls at paw-height, lmao there were tiny poopy paw prints everywhere and of course it was all in the crate and all over her toys so I basically had to wash everything including her.

My cat couldn't cough a hair ball up so he wound up shitting it out. This caused the shit to get stuck half way in his butt and he dragged his ass all over my apartment until he got it off in the middle of the living room.

Since then, I've been feeding him hair ball treats every day and brushing him more and it's worked, so no more shit dragging, but still.

My cats have always been pretty clean and never made too much mess, but when our 16 year old brown-tabby was at the end of her life she would just poop where she was sitting, and it was the nastiest sloppy cat-poop I'd ever seen, stank to high heaven too.

I don't miss cleaning that up but I do miss her.

What is everyone doing this weekend?

I am going to spend the weekend at my sister's. I am taking my nephew so we can all go see The Lion King together. I also have to go clothes shopping (blech) for some dress pants. Might go see if I can find some dang raw peanuts to make boiled peanuts as well.

Is it really a problem if people choose not to label their sexuality?

A guy in my friend group, who everyone thought was straight (he's in a long term relationship with a woman) mentioned recently that he doesn't really care about gender, and that if things don't work out with his current partner, he'd be open to dating a guy in the future. Another friend of ours immediately asked if he preferred to be called bi or pansexual and he said neither. She said something along the lines of "well, if you're not straight or gay, it's got to be one of those", he asked why he needed a label at all, and her answer was something about the "social hierarchy" and how it's important as humans to have ways to categorize other people and that "if people reject labels it causes societal anarchy". She claims that it's "common knowledge" and she learned about it in a gender studies class (which doesn't make sense to me for multiple reasons) and...I'm just confused.

I've tried to google and can't find anything about what she's talking about. Has anyone heard of this? Is it actually a thing that it's somehow bad for society if people choose not to use labels for their sexuality or is it just some bullshit she's making up out of nowhere?

Aside from the obvious, has something about a creator's personality made you drop their work and no longer follow it.

I recall I was reading a webcomic recommended to me and it was entertaining enough. But in the creator's merch shop was a shirt saying "choke" on it and it was at that point that I refused to do anything, buy anything from them,or do more than passively follow their comic.

Just ew. Why on earth would anyone want to walk around with a shirt telling everyone who sees it to "choke" unless they have a rotten personality? I mean sure they could say its just a joke but personally I don't find it very funny. I feel like the internet has gotten a bit too casual about telling people to die as a negative reaction.
