I would be heartbroken to find out the McElroy brothers were assholes. I don't believe in a lot, but I believe the boys of My Brother My Brother and Me are good, but I am afraid as they become more popular (what with Trolls 2) something bad abput them will come out :(

I have no intention of watching Good Omens myself at the moment but I absolutely love that it's totally taken over my Tumblr dash.
(Maybe I have no desire to watch it because I've read the book so many times already and my Tumblr dash already provides me with the predigested best parts of the series?)

Romance between a vampire and a werewolf is a very common fandom trope, but besides the Underworld movies I don't think I ever seen a Canon vampire/werewolf relationship.

I believe very strongly in YKINMKATO. As long as everyone tags appropriately, they can write what they like and others can read it or not.
But!
There are words and turns of phrase I find so utterly overwhelmingly unsexy, I would like to not only erase them from my memory, but also from the universe at large!

I know that the romance between Cleopatra and Mark Antony is considered one of the most iconic romances in history, but I always found the relationship between Cleopatra and Caesar more interesting

Someone IRL recently suggested the show You to me, and I was like OMG YES that is totally my kind of thing.

But I made the mistake of googling it before giving it a try, and I saw these articles talking about how Penn Badgley had to call out fans on twitter who were talking about how hot his character is. You know, giving them a "gentle reminder" that the character is, in fact a villain.

And now I can't watch the show because I can't look at Penn Badgley's face without wanting to punch the living daylights out of him.

It's one thing for a woman to call out other women on their problematic female fantasies. But when a man does it? In-fucking-tolerable.

Also, I really don't get this trend where actors feel like they have to loudly denounce the evil characters they play.

And I don't expect ANYYYYY sort of commiseration from anyone on this comm because I'm sure everyone here agrees with Penn Badgley that women are morally wrong for having such disturbing fantasies in the first place and probably directly contributing to rape or something by romanticizing a stalker/murderer/etc.

God, I'm tired. So fucking tired. Can we please go back to time when everyone understood how make-believe works.

I prefer small or medium fandoms, if I see one of my fandoms growing too much I move on to another. Big fandoms normally just have too much drama, negativity and toxicity, and this leads to people from outside badmouthing the fandom. All this bums me out and just leave me in a bad mood, so it's better for me to just move on

It bugs me when people push their doll's eyelashes into the sockets to make them look like their eyes are closed when standing up. It's bad for the lashes and it's so much easier to get just a tiny removable glue dot and stick it on the lashes to make the eyes stay closed. It doesn't ruin the lashes and the pictures look better because now the doll doesn't look like it's missing half it's eyelashes.

I think the Godzilla franchise should do a
anime or game with gijinka/humanized versions of the kaijus like Toukenn Ranbu did with famous swords. This way we could finally have the kaijus as the main characters and explore their personalities and relationships with each other. We wouldn't need token human characters to carry the plot and have the Kaiju talk without people saying how it's silly. It would also bring more fans

I don't understand why so many people want more options for avatar customization in Pokemon Go because they want to make their avatars into clones of themselves. While I'm not completely in love with how I look I don't hate it either, all I think is that the people who're not interested in experimenting with different face shapes/eye colors/hair styles/et cetera are missing out.

please stop posting pictures of your children (both under 10) in our fandom Discord selfie channel.
A cute pic here and there is fine, but you keep posting them almost every day.
I do think they're cute but I also think my cat is cute and I don't post a pic of him every day. Plus, my cat will not grow up and find out I posted hundreds of pics of him online into a group of which 3/4 of the members are silent watchers. :/

I keep telling my friends that I don't intend to watch The 100 and they approve cause they're still hardcore Clexa shippers... but it's a lie. It's one of my dumb comfort shows and I'm kinda sorta rooting for Bellarke to get together in the end? Ooops? (It's not like they would murder me or anything, but I'd definitely be in for some ranting and life is stressful enough as it is.)

I want to get published but the only thing stopping me is that if people say negative things about me as a person i wont be able to handle it.

Because i secretly agree. Maybe its bullying or something but i hate myself. For no apparent reason. My biggest fear is seeing other people confirm that im the scum i feel like i am.

I haven't re-read old fanfics from specific fic writers because they reminded that I used to be friends with them before we drifted apart or stopped being friends. I'm not quite there yet where I can re-read their fanfics again without conjuring up bittersweet memories, but hopefully, I'll get there soon.

Sometimes I've even wondered if I didn't get to know them, would I have enjoyed their fics without the baggage? Then I realized dwelling on that thought isn't good, either.

In the meantime, RP has helped me in place of reading fanfic, because I can write out my favorite characters on my own terms.

(Possible spoilers for What Remains of Edith Finch)

It seems like every time I see the game What Remains of Edith Finch mentioned people are saying how poignant and sad it is and how much they cried with it.

Meanwhile, here I am seething in anger because most of the deaths were so easily preventable. Teach your kids what is and isn't edible around the house, never leave a baby unattended in the bathtub, don't build a swing set at the edge of a fucking cliff, etc.

I do believe the Finch family is under a curse that makes them die young, and the name of that curse is lack of common sense.

What specific things would you do if you were a billionaire? Let's assume this is after all the obvious things, like buying everyone you've ever met a house and paying everyone a loan and giving money to charity generally. Get weird.

Personally, I would have a personal pastry chef just making me fine French pastries every morning
