I think you're completely right.

Oh, baw. If they didn't change ANYTHING about Chase's personality other than hir physical gender, sie would be the most popular character evar. But you can't be that hot and amoral a chick on network TV without being forced into: a) wanting to bang the lead character; b) being given a Tragic Past that you have to bawl about; c) getting killed.

Fandom is not a tenth as misogynist as network TV writers are and I am so tired of hearing how fandom is misogynist because we don't embrace all TV's broken women.

Yes, the picture is from the movie but I'm afraid I can't tell you what it's like as I haven't seen it myself yet! I doubt that it will be as fantastic as the mini series. For a start, it must have been hard to fit the entirety of Brideshead into two hours. But I'm still looking forward to seeing it - I think it's had some quite good reviews.

163. Oh, Aarinfantasy. There is the occasional thread that's interesting but most of the actual yaoi-related discussion is just crap. There'll be pages of replies, but nothing of actual substance is being said. Granted, most of the users seem pretty nice, but it's almost to the point that many are afraid of having any kind of real discussion. I suspect that many of the vocal users are either incredibly naive or underage b&.

I agree with you SO HARD. Seriously, it's like Ichigo turned into this googly-eyed generic main character with a chin the size of Jay Leno's. u_u I liked him better when he was more angular, and his eyes didn't look so....wibbly. Seriously, he's getting uglier, and no one seems to agree with me. =P

126. I used to love DOOL, but I can't watch it anymore. The writing just kind of went down hill. Plus, they kept messing with my characters/pairings – especially Lumi. I'm sorry, but I just can't watch Sami and EJ together. It creeps me out.

136. In real life, I definitely find it disgusting. But, for whatever reason, I like reading MPREG fics. Yes, I know, it's a total double standard and I don't really get it either.

154. I'm sorry, but I really do hate that pairing and there are so many reasons why. In fact, I could probably write an essay on the reasons why. But that would be ridiculous, so to summarize: He didn't cheat on her because they were never technically in a relationship. They had sex, yes, but Danny never made ANY sort of commitment to her. (There are more reasons than just this, but this is one of the main ones.) Not to mention the fact that the writers never gave us any indication that they were actually dating to begin with.

As for Anna, I'm just really not a fan. I'm sure she's a nice person, but what I've seen of her personality from interviews just really annoys me. Also, I'm just not that impressed by her acting. I could write another essay here, but I won't. It boils down to one main thing: Her acting is stagnant. It's the same week in and week out. She was given a gem right off the bat in getting to work with an amazing actor like Carmine Giovinazzo. But yet she can't even play off of him and/or his cues. It's like she's reading the lines and that's it. There's nothing of substance there, in my opinion.

And, yeah, I'll stop there before I go into those essays I was talking about. :)
