151 - They ruined the characters, Dinobot isnt in it. They ruined my fluffy Rhinox, Rattrap looks GAY, Silverbolt turned UGLY and MEAN....should I go on about how afraid I am to watch the series? (I saw clips and read up on it from different sites, not just Wikipedia, kthx!)

So yeah....thats why they foam at the mouth. Facts are facts, babe. It's NOT a different, unique series. It's a SEQUEL to a GREAT SERIES that is BEAST WARS. Guilt trip secrets are so annoying. Anyone else agree?

It's not a guilt trip. I don't even see how it is. But this is always the reaction, and that, frankly, makes me feel like crap.
I watched Beast Wars as a kid, and didn't remember much of it at all. So when I randomly got the BM boxset, I didn't know anything about Beast Wars. I just knew that I hated watching for my brother and sister to get home so I could watch it with them, because we were completely hooked.

All the things you listed...miss the freaking point of the secret. I'm obviously not talking about it as compared to Beast Wars. Beast Wars (which it got me to watching later) is a great piece of work. Taken simply as a kid's series made to sell toys (just like BW), it's freaking brilliant. Yes, Dinobot's not in it, Megatron doesn't sayt, "Yeeeeesss," there's no friggen crazy Inferno, etc. It's still well-written and had enough twists to keep me surprised and entertained.

But your reaction...that's what I'm talking about. Someone previously just made a comment that it's a matter of preference, and some people didn't like the direction the show took. Calmly expressed, I can respect that. This "ZOMIGOSH, it's different!" reeks of TRUKK NOT MUNKY.

It's just that most fans' brains are trying to fit them as characters from the current timeframe, or perhaps, in desperation, that of the Marauders. Doesn't work too well.
