There's some parts that I think are awkward or could be better but...there's something actually good about it. I hated it until I watched it. It's the kind of show that me and my friends make fun of on principal.

But I really, really loved it.

And to be even more tl;dr, the fact that I hate Jenny so much right now is proof that it's good XD; I mean, she's being ridiculous...but it's very realistic.

...sorry for all that. can you tell that I can't talk about this to anyone? ;___;

I still remember when episode 1 of this series aired in japan, and when the first episode was subbed (by Nanashi i think it was?). I stuck with it from beginning to end, i loved the series to death, and i repeatedly tried to get people into it the entire time. It just wouldn't bloody work. Barely anyone was interested, and the people that were couldn't download it. Two years later, i finally gave up. And then the fandom began to grow, and i refused to care any more.
I don't know why this series took so long to get even remotely popular, and the hilarious thing about it is, now that it is somewhat popular, i just don't give a shit.

Urgh, I'm pretending that episode didn't happen. They didn't fit together in the real series, and Okazaki was meant for Nagisa from the word go. Tomoyo didn't even enter my head ... Tomoyo/Okazaki was one of those ships people seemed to ship for the craic .. it didn't have any real basis. I had that episode sitting on my laptop for ages before I finally watched it.

You can't call that episode Clannad. Because it's not.

107. I feel this way about Gurren Lagann fandom. Even aside from all the people in it who annoy me, there are plenty of perfectly nice fans who are quite enthusiastic about it...then I go to look for fanfic and zilch.

112. Me, I prefer Yuuko/Himawari. Mostly because I think Watanuki secretly ships it even though he's too embarrassed to admit it.

119. I was sure he'd come back, so what really made me sad was that they seem to have broken up in the end. Which is weird, since I never cared about the couple before. Oh well, hopefully they'll fix it up again by the time the movies are done.

128. This is why I love it when he kind of snaps and says snarky things to the media (like responding to a reporter who wouldn't stop bothering him over breakfast with, "Why can't I just eat my waffle?"). It reminds me that there's a real and sympathetic person underneath all the shiny.
