It is CANON that the possession is willing.

My problem is that consent to possession on the part of a devout individual constitutes consent to possession with the idea that the body will be used to do G-d's work.

Fornication--sex with an individual to whom one is not married or vowed--seems to be something that a person like that would be unlikely to give their consent to even if they don't have the slightest bit of problem with homosexuality.
