107. I have no idea what I'm going to do either. :( I read something about next season being the last and was grumpy for the rest of the day. Yes, I know it's a tv show about fictional characters, but it's helped me more in irl than any other tv show.

137. Ugh, the birthing scene was so disturbing. How anyone can squee over someone getting their mutant baby ripped out of their womb by their vampire husband is beyond me.

Okay, so, Bella has a vampire baby, right? Well, in Smeyer-verse, vampires have rock hard skin and stuff, so her womb is subsequently rock hard even though she's human, okiedokie? (I dunno either.)

So the baby is killing Bella and they need to get it out nownownownow. This happens a little after she throws up a "fountain of blood", which is a turn of phrase that still makes me feel ill. Anyway, the only way to get the baby out without killing Bella is through a c-section, but no instrument has the power to do that on magically hard vampire wombs, so Vampire Edward, um.... uses his teeth. Because they are hard enough. He bites open her belly to get the demonspawn out.

I mean. I think what's more disturbing is that young girls are reading this crap and cooing over it. Christ. Meyer went from just shallow, but silly writing to grotesque. ftl

Yeeeeeeah, pretty much.

You should look into cleolinda's summaries of the books. She quotes long passages, makes funny remarks, and explains a lot of crap in them. She also did the leaked Edward book, Midnight Sun. Edward watching Bella sleep from a rocking chair. :weeps:

The birthing scene was one of several disturbing things in that book. At one point during Bella's pregnancy, Edward pulls Jacob aside and says that he'd rather Bella and Jacob have children. So, he's basically pimping his wife out and all the fangirls are squealing, "THAT IS SO SWEET, OMG!1!!ONE!" Oh, then there's the imprinting scene. >.<

107. What worries me is that everyone is assuming we have a season 5 in the bag, which is not true. The CW could cancel it at the end of this season just like any other season. Which is why I am also worried when the episodes are so full of reveals and they tie up so many loose ends - makes me think that Kripke is covering his ass in case he doesn't get a fifth season ;-(
I need therapy for when this show goes off the air, lol.

After being burned by networks a few times, I've learned not to take anything for granted. It wouldn't make sense for them to cancel it, as viewership this season (thus far) is up about 24%. Then again, there is sometimes little logic involved in canceling shows. Let's just keep our fingers crossed!

You and me both! Haha. I'm gonna have a tough time accepting that the boys are gone when the show finally gets the ax.
