146. Personally, I thought it is/was a lame cliche storyline. In modern American television, why is it always the hot woman who is bisexual? It's never any of the guys. No, the men are either gay or straight. And 90% of the time, they're straight. But for women, it's another story. Bisexuality is always in play. It's Willow. Never Xander. It's 13. Never Kutner. And now it's Angela. Not Hodgins.

Oh, please, spare me, writers from your boring dribble.

The Zack's storyline has been left hanging and you are going for the sexy bisexuals? That's sweeps for you.

There are so many reasons to dump this person- but perhaps you should ask her why she would vote for it. If it's because of some of the propaganda that the Mormon Church put out (and thus violating their tax exempt status- and trust me, there are lawyers suggesting remove it thanks to this), point out that those were lies- the ACLU has some wonderful documents that show this would not in anyway force churches to marry them, and all the others.

If it was because they believe "separate but equal", ask them if they believe interracial are wrong- because that's the last time that argument was used.

If it's because they believe homosexuality is a sin, ask them if they ever worked on a Sunday or Saturday- the bible considers those sins too. Or touched a football- if they can pick and choose what they believe from the bible, why can't a gay person?

Marriage predates Christianity, and it was originally just a legal contract recognizing the union of two people. In Feudal times, it was just something arranged by your local lord to strengthen ties with allies.

As much as we want to just scream at people for being stupid for saying yes to Prop 8, we get farther talking about it.


Still ridiculous that it passed. A measure demanding bigger cages for chickens passed too- What, chickens are more people than gays?

50. WTF? South Park =/= a show for paedophiles to fantasize about 9-year-olds falling in love and having sex with them. I don't really care how much of a 'deeper meaning' KnJ has, if the majority of the viewers watches it to get off to drawings of 9-year-olds, it kinda fails in delivering this meaning.

1. There is no sex in Kodomo no Jikan that isn't between consenting adults.

2. The teacher, Aoki, actually reprimands the girl, Rin, for her sexual advances. Rin's advance sexual behavior isn't treated as okay either but rather a problem.

3. I don't care it's for humor, South Park does sexualize the character when they see fit (see the episode when Kenny has a constant fantasy about boobs and the words he mummbles in the OP are quite sexual in nature, the whole episode with Ike and the teacher, and pretty much "that's pretty gay" moments with Cartman, with him acting like a Vietnamese hooker.

I don't see how humor makes it better or whatever... and that Kodomo no Jikan also uses the fanservice for humor as well.

134. Umm... no. (I have 42,000 words, I'm not quitting now!) Seriously, bitching about NaNo is half the fun, and if your friends are taking it way too seriously, maybe that's a friend fail, not a NaNo fail ;) There's been a bit of emo on my friends list, but no "OH GOD I'M A HORRIBLE WRITER MUST GO SLIT MY WRISTS". And I think only one or two are doing fanfiction (which has always seemed fairly... cheap to me, I dunno).

As someone doing NaNo for the fourth time, I can tell you that the end of the year is a bit...

October: Right! Planning! Plotting! Characters! Subplots!
Last week of October: OH MY GOD I WANT TO START CAN I START WRITING MY NOVEL NOW?
First week of November: WHEE I'M WRITING A NOVEL THIS IS SO AWESOME.
Second week of November: Oh, I'm writing a novel. Yay -_-
Third week of November: Please to commence with killing me ;_;
Fourth week of November: OH GOD. OH GOD. NEARLY FINISHED.
Last few days of November: DO NOT DISTURB OR I WILL BEAT YOU WITH A KEYBOARD.
First week of December: IT'S OVER IT'S OVER I'M NEVER WRITING AGAIN.
Second week of December: WHEEE LET'S DO IT AGAIN! :D :D
