Mildly drunk from a chain of sloe gin and tonics. Elephant Sloe is sooooooo good. Pricey af, but god damn it's a good sloe.

I have a horrible headache BUT I just finished a 5 mile walk. So pretty happy about that.

Have a huuuuuuuuuuge blind pimple pulsating on my chin and it is painful as FUCK and it is so hard to keep my hands off it because my entire instinct is "GET THE ALIEN OUT" but I know that way leads to no good...

... that's likely because I've also just started my period.

And that explains my mood of the last few days when I just felt like everything in the entire would should fuck off. Way to start my vacation!

Not great because I need to finish my thesis and am anxious about it but the main issue is that I need to write an email to my prof about a formality I need to clear up with him and I'm much more anxious about that than the actual thesis.

I feel like I lost my weekend. I was supposed to make a 300km back-and-forth trip on Saturday for a funeral, but the leg back was cancelled with only a one hour notice, too late to do anything else, so I had to find a place to crash to, book another ticket for the next morning, and deal with insane shenanigans in doing so. Now I'm back home but I spent all my Sunday wishing I could just go back to bed and sleep it off. ~~It's not often that I curse Mondays but I don't want to go back to work tomorrow, blergh.~~

My hockey team has been out on the west coast this week and so I've been staying up half the night to watch (because I'm dumb lol) and it caught up with me today and I took a nap.

I haven't had a nap in years (unless you count when my daughter was a newborn and sleeping was ONLY naps)

Okay. Anxious about various things, but I know I'm doing fuckloads better than I could be.

I can hope it gets better from here on out.

Really struggling with my mental health, but I've managed to have a relaxing and productive weekend.

Working on cleaning my house, waiting for groceries to come. Feeling pretty bleh on account of lovely hormones. I took a nap, but it doesn't feel like it helped. Parents are coming in at 11:30PM, so I can't crash until then. Picking them up at the airport.

Adjusting to new meds and not loving it. >_>

I normally don't care, but I'm from Kansas City so here I am, preparing to waste a night watching the Chiefs disappoint me on the biggest stage. GO TEAM!
