121. I'm wondering how that's the meaning of it. It doesn't make sense to me at all. As far as I can tell, shipping two characters together because you like the chemistry is just...well, it's only natural, and really, the gender shouldn't matter so much if it's the chemistry you like. You select. You pick and choose and don't just slap two characters together because they're male, hot, and exchanged two words in that one episode. Googles are things that cover your whole line of sight. If you ever had to wear drunk goggles for Driver's Ed, you'll remember that they affect all of your vision, not just part of it. So, to my mind, anyway, "Slash Goggles" would be things that skew your whole perception of anything towards slash.

Or maybe it's just that I always encounter people who use "I can't take the Slash Goggles off!" as an excuse as to why any time two men have a scene together, they start to ship them, whereas folk just shipping characters don't really need to make an excuse.
