First time I watched that episode I cried so hard and then went into denial. I was so sure next week he'd be back on the Bebop, bandaged up and making Jet fetch things for him, and then Ed and Ein would come back and Faye would be complaining about how Spike almost got himself killed and, and- *sob*

I can't watch that episode without crying hysterically. It's like when he died, a part of me died. ;_; And a new part dies each time I watch it.

But even if it were to, it wouldn't make McShep any less popular. As a rareshipper, my advice is to let the whole thing go. It's not worth getting angry over. Just be happy with whatever you have.

I think Bebop's ending as as close to perfect as anything can get, but it still leaves me in or close to tears every time I watch.

Have you ever checked out The Ballad of John Doe (http://www.big-big-truck.com/bebop/ao/johndoe.html) by Agent Orange (http://www.fanfiction.net/u/176351/)? It's a post-series fic where Spike actually lives, and so well-written it almost feels like canon. It's become almost a ritual for me to reread it whenever I watch the final episode of the series, just for the sake of my own sanity.

112: the fact that you don't ship any of the popular slash pairings in other fandoms, leads me to believe that you just don't like slash pairings that are popular. if or when you watch 'Torchwood' you probably despise Jack/Ianto...and yes we know its never going to happen, silly Keller

So...Joe being a Republican means he can't play a gay character? He's done it before (actually his first acting job and one of my favorite Flanigan roles) I just don't see how his family's political background has anything to do with his character motivations, but maybe that's just me.
