I just don't get that pairing. I understand Kripe et al want to give the fans someone to slash Dean with who isn't his brother. It's an honorable goal and very long awaited, but really I don't see it. Dirty, gay sex with an angel? How's that work? At least the incest made a little sense cuz they were both going to Hell, anyway. And I don't like Castiel's personality, either. SPN needs to try harder. I want to slash, too!

It'll probably be hard, but you should see this movie anyway. Go to the theater with friends (or even people who might be on the fence about Prop 8) and pay for tickets. Movie companies understand profits, and if they see that people are willing to pay $10 to see a movie about a gay politician/civil rights leader, it might open the doors for more GLBT cinema in the mainstream.

I agree. In a crappy, terrible movie based on a terrible, crappy book, he was pretty much the worst thing. Watching him act was painful and hilarious at the same time. I sympathized with his comments about Meyer before I saw the movie, then I was like, dude. It's hard to feel bad for him when he sucks so bad.

114: I don't blame you. I was really taken with the devotion Fakir felt for Mythos (not to mention that I fell in love with his voice - Sakurai Takahiro is amazing), and the way he hid it behind a gruff exterior. Of course, I think most of the cast were in love with Mythos, but still. XD

The fandom did it to itself. They got OMG canon!slash and then decided it had to be twoo-wuv, in spite of how insanely OOC that interpration was. Which meant the minute anyone else got a smidge of attention from Mr. Omnisexual, they became a target.

Undrink the Kool-ade and life will be beautiful again. Especially when you start ignoring the crap fics for the crap pairing.

You'd be surprised how many Jack/Ianto fans don't believe it's true love. Depth of emotion, though? Hell yes. Otherwise he'd be off with the Doctor.

Jack/Gwen shippers who go on about them being soulmates are just as bad, in any case. Jack has lots of love for everyone. He just shows it in different ways. And he isn't out to break up anyone else's party for his own fun and games, he's too caring for that these days.

The sooner fandom as a whole realises that, the better. I just think it isn't going to happen on my watch.

I was never a fan of Logan on CI (although I've recently decided it was more about a couple of his partners than him - still don't think he was a good fit for the show), but yeah, I'm holding my breath too.

I don't feel like it'll end well even though I like Jeff Goldblum and Wheeler. But at this point I'm only watching CI for Goren/Eames, anyway. *shrug*

I personally never got into Logan because they couldn't stick with ONE partner at all. I loved Barek and suddenly POOF. Gone. Lame. So yea, I'm with you, I am pretty much in it for the G/E.
