I would read the hell out of hot, hot Joe/Mika pr0n. Someone please tell me where I can find some. Hot, hotness optional, even.

107. *bows*

126. You're my hero! When I took the train to work I did the same thing. :D

133. I don't particularly want it, but I can't say when I watched the movie I didn't completely see it.

[identity profile] flutingfrenzy.livejournal.com 2008-12-11 12:17 am (UTC)(link)
114. Neither do I. I want to, because everybody else seems to love them, but I think I'm missing that part of the brain that finds vampires interesting or something.

140. This secret is so cool. I want fic for it.

[identity profile] pocket.livejournal.com 2008-12-11 12:20 am (UTC)(link)
120. lol. just... lol. because democrats vs. republicans is one of the bigger problems. also, fail, nia, etc.
143. man, is that on tv already? it looks different than amy's work.
151. LOL. i still need to download it. :|
153. SHOW ME LOVE! ♥ man i loved that movie. we sold the vhs of father of the bride at our last garage sale, sorry anon. :'(
157. same!

120 OP

(Anonymous) 2008-12-11 01:18 am (UTC)(link)
It has nothing to do with "democrats vs republicans". Since when are the republicans supposed to be a party that represents the defense of archaic social beliefs? The republican party is about individual rights and keeping the government out of business, not about pushing a religious agenda.

The "grieving parties..." was mostly a joke on Nia's dub dialog when confronting Adiane. All I wanted to say is that there is no reason for people to fight and that the religious community needs to understand that faith is not a competition about righteousness. Faith is supposed to be self-rewarding, not for the condemning of other lifestyles. However, if it bothers you that much, I'm sorry for asking my mom to don't vote for a law that not only is irrelevant for her own life but will also take away the right of happiness from other people.

And I'm sad you're unable to see the greatness of Nia, but that's your loss. You don't have to worry about me, though; I do enjoy Leiji Matsumoto classics because my taste is broad and extensive.

107. This secret made me smile, and I'm only on the very outskirts of even lurking in SPN fandom.

115. Your life is absolutely worth saving! I hope you'll consider reaching out to someone and getting help, it can do worlds of good. I've felt similarly, but I'm doing better and I know you can do the same. :)

119. Is it bad that my first thought was "Wow, English teacher with a Jaguar!"???

127. A coat that awesome doesn't need a fucking occasion. You just wear it and look amazing.

149. I wonder if Snape-like teachers everywhere became more well-liked by their HP fan students once the character became popular? It'd be funny if they were all like "WTF, my students are supposed to FEAR me! Why do they giggle whenever I walk by?!"

155. So. Freaking. Hot.

10. Haha, same, kind of.

18. THIS. YES.

33. ...what? But, but... it's Spirited Away. D:

34. I know this is besides the point, but I LOVE that font. Birth Of A Hero ftw!

43. Hey, I used to really like the web series. How's the tv show?

45. I think it's because they really hate that she created the series in the first place.

54. Is this that Columbine game? And yes, "Fake Plastic Trees" kicks ass.

61. If you're scared of them, why are you still part of the fandom? Fandom's supposed to be fun.

154 - not the OP

[identity profile] lightpipe.livejournal.com 2008-12-11 04:02 am (UTC)(link)
yes, it's SCMRPG (http://www.columbinegame.com). I played through it once and hang on the forums there, so I recognized the screen right away.

IIRC it had pretty good music, in general, except it was all MIDI-fied.

She is one of my favorite Weiss Kreuz writers. It is a shame the fandom is drying up: every so often a good fic still appears, but not enough of them. But it was good while it lasted.

sigh.

101- Now I can't unsee it either. ಠ_ಠ

137- ... Wow... It looks like they couldn't give slash fans more ammunition if they tried.

148- ... I really, literally, lol'd. Now my parents want to know what's going on. Thanks, anon, I needed that laugh. Seriously, you think the reason Final Fantasy has more pretty boys and flashy cutscenes is because of KH? Really? You're new, aren't you? You have to be. Seriously, I got into Final Fantasy with Final Fantasy 9 and even I know that.

... I will now be totally different and edgy and not blame it all on Nomura.

170- Well, I didn't cry, but I'll miss him too.

I'm not one for road rage, but if I happen to get irritated I always sing his "GAWD GAWD DAMMIT (OH ME OH MY)" song to myself.

Ah, the musical episode. How I long for a soundtrack.

142

[identity profile] resounding-echo.livejournal.com 2008-12-11 12:55 am (UTC)(link)
Wow, really? Way to miss the point of the movie.

I knew there was a reason I never sought out works in this fandom. Is there anything you would recommend?

Re: 148

(Anonymous) 2008-12-20 07:24 am (UTC)(link)
So much love for using a Namine icon to say that.

Two Hetalia secrets calls for a celebration!

[identity profile] kryptonfox.livejournal.com 2008-12-11 01:00 am (UTC)(link)
114 - I've only read a couple of vampire books (not Meyer's, though) out of curiosity because I wanted to see if the writer would classify the vampire character as a monster or an individual with a curse. I got more than I bargained for, because all of those books that I had read ended up being really smutty. (Gah, is there a book version of the Munsters anywhere?)

120 - My mom and I don't hold the same views on this subject, either. However, I think you should respect your parent's decision while still holding on to what you believe. She may come around to your point of view if you keep respecting her, and even if she doesn't, you would still be able to handle the situation maturely.

123 - Congratulations! Hetalia has revived my love for history, too. A few years ago I had planned to study the histories and cultures of different countries on my own, because my school's history classes were pretty boring and tended to leave stuff out. Now I've found my studying groove, again. I think I'm going to start off with the history of Russia, that is, if he's not in a cat suit lurking behind me...

148 - Eh, I think KHII is a bit more than just flashy cutscenes and pixelated pretty-boys. I found the game a bit challenging and the characters to have interesting personalities. The plot was a bit out there, but it was at least entertaining. (I liked the game, but I've never really gotten into the fandom for it.) The personalities of the characters in KHII definately beat the personalities of the characters in FF13.

152 - I hearby bestow upon you the MOST INTERESTING SECRET OF THE NIGHT award. Good job! Let's hope those dead heads don't shoot you!

160 - CLEVER MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

165 - Maybe the anime will be a hit and more countries will be added in later?
*Hopeful comment is hopeful.*

170 - I know. Now I'll have to look up pictures of cute little animals on my own!

Re: 148

[identity profile] andromeda-2.livejournal.com 2008-12-11 03:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Weeell, I wouldn't want to judge the characters in FFXIII BEFORE the game(s)is even out. I'm just hoping the story in FFXIII will be interesting enough for me to actually care about the characters(that's my opinion, anyway). Besides, we get another female heroine! That's gotta be worth something, right?(Is hoping so desperately for the FFXIII games to be good D:)

112. Daria secret!

124. That is one of the most lovely and adorable secrets I've ever seen.

132. American literary slash for the win!!! I can absolutely see how Hawthorne/Melville would work, too.

163

[identity profile] intertribal.livejournal.com 2008-12-11 01:07 am (UTC)(link)
I agree, mostly cuz I don't think you should base political opinions on who you think is sexually attractive (if shippers aren't so stupid as to do that, then whatever). That could lead America down some creepy roads.

Re: 163

(Anonymous) 2008-12-11 07:54 am (UTC)(link)
I've never seen a shipper base their political opinions on who they think is sexually attractive. Ever. It's more that the shipping thing grew out of finding politicians who were generally not out to destroy the world and *then* finding them hot.

America's already started down the creepy road anyway and it's got nothing to do with the shippers. Palin was chosen for her sex appeal and that was why she had such strong support and received a lot of attention. She's not going away any time soon.
