148: The FF series was trending downwards, anyway. Srsly, it's not fair to blame fans of KH on that, SquEnix was bound to run out of ideas eventually. KH isn't bad for what it is--an all-ages RPG comissioned by Disney and primarily featuring their characters/worlds. It's fun, just like all the older FF titles were.

Besides, it's kind of hard to top the candy and win that was FFTactics.

104: While at first i wasn't happy about how the movie strayed so far from the book canon...I'm suprised by how okay i was when it actually happened. I think it's because i love movieverse!Susan so much XD And while i don't ship Caspian/Susan exactly, it made me ship the hell out of Ben and Anna (I love that cast an embarrassing amount ^.^;)

Well, I do admit you DO get a lot of fangirls who 'like' Matt for teh bishie~ and hot ghey sex with Mello (-.-) I personally like reading about him for the imaginative backstories and personalities authors give him (Not the retarded sex-obsessed!Matt though D:) I know it's not for everyone and in a lot of senses it's like reading an OC sometimes, but i'm a sucker for seeing how other people percieve a character (I read all the HP epilogue children fics as well) Even if they don't have personalities per se, i still enjoy reading well-written fics about minor characters, and it's fun most of the time ^.^

I'm pretty new to fandom, but I can still agree that the SPN fandom features a lot of really talented artists, as well as a lot of great people :)

I wouldn't say you're screwed if you're not into incest though. The fics are all properly labeled, and there's plenty of gen, het, and other slash going around as well.

The OP did say if you really hate incest you're kinda screwed. You can avoid accidentally reading incestuous porn if that's not what you're into, but if even the idea of it squicks you the fuck out it might be kind of hard to find a place in SPN fandom where you wouldn't even see it mentioned. (Plus, you'll probably encounter icons with wincest kissing manips or the like sooner or later.)

I wouldn't really know how hard it is to avoid though, I loves me some wincest. <3

No, you're not. It's just that recently, a lot of game developers have gotten lazy and used flashy cutscenes to dazzle the audience, rather than actually making a good game (I'm looking at you, FFX). Those of us who've been gaming since the NES (or longer, in my case--Atari 2600) get frustrated with younger fans used to having everthing spoonfed to them with pretty cutscenes.
