I'm not an only child, but the scene where Luke and Leia kiss is still one of my favorite parts of TESB. I am not harboring a secret desire to make out with my brother in a hidden rebel base on an alien planet while my scruffy-looking nerf-herding boyfriend and his hairy friend watch. I am harboring a desire to see Luke Skywalker look pleased with himself, though.

Somehow, despite the fact that this fictional universe contains a great many characters, all of whom form a great number of relationships -- some of which bear a superficial resemblance to relationships I have formed with others in my own life -- I have developed the ability to accept the fact that other people, both fictional and real, have personalities and relationship dynamics which are not always a direct reflection of my own.

In conclusion: just because a person has 50 different Claire/Pete NC-17 smut fics sitting on their hard drive, it may not necessarily mean they want to bone their long lost uncle.

101 - me too! Last November I played it on the way home from my nightclasses, it was always foggy or snowing and I loved it. Also, I listen to the Silent Hill soundtracks WAY too much. Even if it isn't foggy.

Case in point: she cited Russia's proximity to Alaska (though there's only one place in Alaska where one can "see" it, and she's never been there, let alone got a backyard there) in her interview with ABC's Charlie Gibson as foreign policy experience/a reason why she would make a good VP candidate. So, while not the exact words, a very similar (and bubbleheaded) reasoning on her part.
