150---Actually, that pretty much IS why I wouldn't want Gwen and Jack to get together. I adore Rhys, and from a narrative point of view the show needs him to remind everyone that you don't have to be a badass alien catcher to be important and wonderful. Additionally, without Rhys, Gwen loses part of her fulcrum and would end up kinda free-falling.

That and the fact that I think, after the first blush, Gwen and Jack in a romantic or sexual relationship would be like napalm on a forest. There's too much power struggle, too much needing-to-be-right on both sides, and they'd implode.
