Took my car in to get an oil leak fixed and it turns out get the transmission fluid changed. Took three and a half hours.

Now I'm home and finally eating some lunch (McDonald's because the stupid car place had a fried chicken program on the tv and it made me crave fried chicken). Watching some ATLA and relaxing. headache is worse than it was yesterday. My hair hurts, which considering I have super thick hair that is impossible not to move if I move my head at all, is extremely uncomfortable.

It's a nice day here, 80° and hazy sunshine, a good summer day and I have the windows and doors open for the fresh air (but I'm staying inside lol). I smoked a bowl, my husband made us pizza for lunch, and now I'm watching the Star Wars marathon on TNT.

I've been getting into writing more fics lately - the only thing is that I get so nervous about posting them up that I usually orphan the works within the hour after posting them up.

It's a really dumb thing to do considering that I'm posting them through an account that has no connection to anything outside of ao3 - but I still keep doing it (and then live through the torture of seeing grammar and spelling mistakes I can't change afterwards lol)

My partner and I took our dogs to the park (their dog is very skittish about being out so it was an experiment but a successful one!) before it gets to warm. Now we're home and I'm just kind of. Not doing anything. XD My period has started and while it's not nearly as bad as some people deal with, I'm still cramp-y and unfocused.

Partner has a massage appointment this afternoon and they're going to pick up some delicious chicken on the way back so that'll be dinner! And probably some video game playing.

Doing a purge of clothes, old bedding, and fabric and organizing what's left. I have to mow the lawn today because it's likely to rain tomorrow but it's so hot!

Cooking long grain brown rice for dinner, finished watching Dave Chappelle "8:46" on YouTube, and may be doing more laundry later on. IDK. I should really check out stuff on my Amazon Prime or Netflix watchlists. I've been watching Dark Shadows!

Nothing much. I spent last week spotting occasionally and when it stopped over the weekend I assumed I'd just had a weird light period because stress. Then this week the floodgates opened. I spent every day at work going "maybe tomorrow I'll stay home," because I felt so shitty. Now that I made it to the weekend, I've been doing the dishes very slowly in between passing out on the couch. I figure if I bag my laundry to take to the laundromat tomorrow, take out the trash and compost and recycling, do all my dishes, and put another layer of pine pellets in the coop, that's plenty for today even though my house is a disaster area. I feel like shit and need to rest.

Mostly just watching TV and playing games on my phone, looking at random stuff online (no one says "websurfing" anymore, but I don't think anyone has come up with a new term), and I talked to my mom for a bit. I haven't eaten yet today so now I'm trying to figure out what to make out of what I have (don't have much food but I don't want to go grocery shopping on weekends).

tying myself in knots emotionally because somebody on my flist banned me. I didn't recently have a fight with this person or anything, our most recent conversations were all perfectly nice and friendly and the most recent one (which was started by her, not me) was yesterday, and today I get banned? without any comment or warning? Do I just not fucking get people?

Very little. Read in bed last night 'til I feel asleep, got up, got juice, read some more and dozed off with my kitties until 9am, and now i've just been...noodling around. It's too hot to go out (though it's overcast now), and I don't have anything I want to do out there, anyway.

Watched the Joan Jett documentary 'Bad Reputation' on Hulu, it was cool. She is an awesome person.

Mostly listening to Taylor's new album (I can't decide on my fav. song) and intermittently watching Floor is Lava because it's silly and that's about all I'm in the mood for today.

Currently trying to free up space on my ipod so I can add the 56 songs I'd really like to add. Sadly, my ipod is much smaller than my music collection and even when I'm ruthless in deciding what I'll definitely want to listen to either in my car or when I listen to it around the house, what I want to have on there is still far larger than what will fit.

What kind of stuff gives it away that you’re not dealing with a neurotypical fan? I always get worried that it’s obvious even online. :(

There have been a couple of people I have thought might not be neurotypical in my fandom. It doesn’t make me fake anything though. I still like them. I maybe cut them a little more slack?

Consistently missing social cues, overstepping the mark a little when it comes to interacting with people, i.e. behaving like they're BFFs when they're only just acquainted, stuff like that. I'll grant you, it can be hard to read the room when it's all online and you don't have facial expressions and tone to help but some people are... quite bad at it. And that's when it's clear that they're going off some perceived notion or script in their head and not seeing what's in reality.

Assuming they don't have it listed in their profile, which a lot of people do, generally fixation on details that may or may not be important, or scenarios that originate entirely in their own heads and have little to do with the actual topic at hand.

For example, if someone makes a comment about horses in response to my fic for a medieval fantasy canon that happens to mention that these knights are traveling by horse, that's one thing. If they spam me with a bunch of trivia about horses and horse breeding and horse anatomy, or with elaborate headcanons about the knights' horses and their personalities and lineages, I'm going to suspect they're neurodivergent.
