Gecko feet magic! I've always wanted to crawl up walls and run along ceilings. It'd be an incredibly fun technique to have in a busy metropolis setting, especially at night with all the beautiful neon signs and lit windows.

I always gravitate towards the "field medic" kind of healing magic. Knitting bone back together, closing flesh wounds, that kind of stuff.

If not that, some kind of summoner so I could have a cute spirit familiar.

Hmmmm. That's hard. Teleporting would be nice just because I hate air travel. But I think I have to go with either mind reading or just the ability to retain all knowledge just for the edge it would give me as a lawyer.

Time travel. That way I could go back in time a day or so and download one of the fics I was reading on AO3 before the author decided to delete it (and the rest of their fiction apparently).

The ability to stop and start time (if you've ever watched Saved by the Bell, think of it as a real world version of Zach's 'time out/time in'). So if I was at work or in the middle of something and wanted to stop for a break for a while I could just stop time, take a nap, and then restart right where I left off.

Fixing my "brain melting from heat" mistake yesterday and saying the ability to do anything with a "re" prefix; I said suffix in answer to yesterday's stranded in the desert genie wish question, which would've seen me die in the desert.

Relocate oil spills to the mansions of fossil fuel company CEOs.

Reduce the amount of rain falling on flooded regions. Redouble the amount falling on drought stricken ones.

Redouble the amount of money/reduce the amount of debt held by poverty stricken people by relocating money from the hidden offshore accounts of the ultra wealthy.

Remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, plastic waste from water. Refill aquifers with fresh water. Restore degraded farmland. Restore degraded habitats/ecosystems. Relocate individual members of endangered species out of the way of hazards--anyone attempting to shoot or trap or harvest one is gonna be left empty handed. Or possibly in the trap themselves, depending.

Reduce viral loads in AIDS/COVID etc patients, repair damage caused by disease, remove cancer tumors, reveal currently unknown cures for diseases, reverse the effects of aging, rewrite DNA and reshape bodies so that trans people wouldn't need surgery to transition if they wanted to and also the diet and beauty industries would be SOL.

On a personal level, repair damage to my house and body, relocate the tree overshadowing my yard, remove parasites like fleas from my cat and mites from my hens. Restore old appliances to new condition so I don't have to buy new ones.

As far as just for fun stuff goes, I would totally reproduce the fabrics used in some of my favorite costumes and make fancy cosplay outfits.

If I could literally just magic stuff out of nothing, I'd find free plans for small houses designed for both on and off grid living, reproduce the houses as depicted in the plans, then relocate them wherever anyone needed a home. I'd furnish them the same way and set them up so the fridges and pantries would refill with food every day.

And after I figured out the best way to word the restrictions so no one could use them to hurt, exploit, or control people, I would replicate my power to everyone else.

I know I know, it's boring and greedy, but money solves a lot of problems, both for me personally and for the world.
