Roasted a turkey breast and small potatoes in chicken broth, spiced with rosemary, thyme, sage, white pepper, and salt. I made a quick gravy with the broth, flour, and a little milk. Large green salad.

Chicken tikka masala over cauliflower rice. I made it before and it was delicious, so I'm looking forward to dinner.

Chinese food. So much chinese food (fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, chicken chop suey, beef stir fry, some sort of shrimp, and egg rolls the size of my forearm). Three of us eating it. There are still leftovers (most of the stir fry, and about 1/3 of the rice and chop suey).

Cozy Werewolf Drama Indie Author/AMA

Hey, I'm the cozy werewolf drama author (pseudo)Anon aka Ginny O. (ginnyzero) from random thoughts, and literally a couple hours after I wrote that I got a migraine. I didn't mean to "ghost" out on anyone. I was laying in bed trying to sleep off pain quite unable to sit up at all. I had a couple of requests for the link to my cozy werewolf drama books. (I did put them there but it's been 3 days and you know.)

All of my books are available in Kindle Unlimited. If you don't like the 'zon and don't want to really GIVE them money, use KU because it does run at a loss. And as an indie author/reader, ALWAYS, ALWAYS read the look inside. (It will save you tons of emotional investment.)

The reason I don't usually put my links up everywhere is marketing/advertising to me isn't what F!S is for. (And I don't want Case to get mad at me.) When I do talk about stuff that relates to writing, I do use my books as examples b/c using other people's works makes me uncomfy.

So, I'm going to open myself up to an AMA here about indie pub/trad pub/fandom stuff/my books in general/book reviewing. I'm a small indie author who has tried querying and keep my fingers in all three pies. (And man it can get interesting.) I have this problem where I'm not able to complete a project whether it's art, or writing if I show the WIP to people. Some folks say it might be an ADHD problem with instant gratification from the WIP's praise spoiling the way for completing the final project. I have no idea. I just know that it sucks having to keep mum.

I just have problems completing stuff period, but that's because I'm super lazy.

YES. Happens to me all the time. I showed up a wip on twitter and had to force myself to finish it after TWO MONTHS of not touching it. Since then I don't show my wips to anyone. Otherwise I won't finish them.

I have that problem. For me, personally, it comes from a combination of bad (as in friendship-ending) experiences when I've let someone see a WIP and the pressure to update a WIP. The pressure from seeing so many people enjoy what I've done and are looking forward to more. I just.. crumble and run away. So now I at least finish a rough draft before I post anything publicly.

Yes! I have this exact thing too! If I show anyone or try and post it in parts it's as if literally all of my motivation and inspiration drains immediately away. I've been trying to work out why!

It doesn't have to be ADHD, the gratification from showing a WIP and getting praise for it can be detrimental for your motivation to completing it. It is a thing that can happen to anyone.
