Sure, but I recommend stopping after season 5. Seasons 6-8 are genuinely bad, so it just isn't worth watching past 5.

From a TV show perspective, the first 5 seasons are really solid adventure-horror-mystery TV with a strong emotional core and definitely worth watching if you're into that kind of thing, and the later seasons are kinda over-involved plotwise and not as good but there's still some good stuff. From a shipping perspective... IDK

It depends. The show had two different existences. It's initial format was monsters of the week and pretty damn good. It changed once they brought heaven and hell into it and started getting rocky. They had about four separate ultimate doom type scenarios and had to keep topping themselves. Ultimately, I'm just not sure why you would.

Maybe try it and see? At least all the good stuff's at the beginning and you can nope out if you start getting bored.

I started watching Supernatural around season thirteen and had to play catch up, so my opinions are pretty different from my friends who have been watching since the first season. I actually thought the first three seasons were a little boring and mainly watched it to have something in the background while I did chores and because Dean was pretty. I enjoyed seasons four and five and thought the original finale was really good, but I like a bunch of the episodes that came after the original finale.

I started watching around S4, (went back and watched the beginning) and dozed in and out somewhere around S7. Came in and out until S11/12? (mostly out)and came back for the last episode.

It's the kind of show that is enjoyable, but it's also not terribly confusing -- easy enough I didn't know what was going on but by mid episode (after missing some seasons) you can deduce most of what's happening.

1-5 is very typical but still interesting supernatural mystery focused on the relationship between two brothers. 6-15 is an attempt by the show to explicate the relationship as they constructed it through various supernatural fuckery and deal with creation as a concept both writing wise and divinity wise. if you don't like to meta characters, it's not going to be as interesting because effectively all the conflict is parallel to the relationship in increasingly dramatic and explicit ways.

I just hate that it is Thanksgiving and I'm alone and sick. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays, it has always been a big family thing for us. But this year I'm alone and don't get to enjoy it because I feel miserable.

okay, so I'm watching forensic files and so in this ep, all they got is two hands that were found in the trash. and they located who they belonged to.

and the narrator goes: "Investigators had no idea what had happened to the rest of the body. But they suspected something terrible happened inside his home."

NO, REALLY????? IDEK. I love it, it's so over-dramatic and obvious?

I'm losing hope here. I feel unemployable. I'm unprovable disabled due to migraines and w/o insurance I can't prove it. So, I need something flexible I won't get fired if I have to lay down for 3 days straight. (Yes, it happens, up to 5 depending on how bad it gets to my heart.) Every "flexible" job I look at requires a BA I don't have. Or is a scam. Or exploitative. And now -gestures at stuff- is making employers super picky.

So, my only thing I can think to do is such a big shot in the dark, involves creating a huge art project inspired by a celebrity and ating that celeb. He's a real sweetheart, actually lives in my state part of the time. I know he'd be pleased if he saw it (if my work ends up any good.) I'm just so scared if I do all this work and get nothing again, it'd just be devastating.

Being creative sucks. I just want a job I feel I can do around my migraines. I can do art and write and edit books around my migraines. I can't do shift work or answer phones or keep books. And my socials never got big enough for freelance stuff.

It's the end of the month so... yeah. Anxiety again.

I'm so tired of being blamed for everything because I fucked up my life, because they think my face is unattractive, because I won't keep my mouth shut, because I defend myself, because they think I have no value. It's killing me weekly. I just want to lay down & die; I keep hoping to die in my sleep but I keep waking up the next morning...I need money and I need to go to college and I need a super strong emotional support system but I won't be doing/getting any of those any time soon.

Yes I'm grateful that I have covid-related job security, but I also feel guilty that my company profits from it, and I'm overworked and dead tired. We need a second technician to manufacture all those tests but they won't hire temp help and I'm still alone and I can't do it.

New Tolkien book coming out next year. We'll see. On the one hand, I'm a Tolkien completest and love his writing and want to own it all. And it sounds like some of the stuff contained in this one will be of interest to me. On the other hand, this will be the first one not edited by Christopher Tolkien, so I'll have to see what the quality is like.

So, the episode of SPN where Castiel declares his love for Dean aired in South America. In the dub, he tells dean "Te amo" the romantic version of "I love you." And Dean replies with, "Y yo a ti, Cas" or "And I you."
