(Anonymous) 2021-01-08 05:39 am (UTC)(link)If they like it, aren't lactose intolerant, and aren't struggling with childhood obesity, then cool. It may do them good and it probably won't hurt them. But the assumption that a big glass of milk with dinner equals health is outdated.

(Anonymous) 2021-01-08 10:25 am (UTC)(link)I'm 51 and I still drink about that much milk at least a few times a week, because I'm not lactose intolerant, I like the taste of it a LOT, and I need all the calcium I can get as I get older.

(Anonymous) 2021-01-08 10:30 am (UTC)(link)If you have a family history of osteoporosis in older women in the family, as I do, and you aren't lactose intolerant, you SHOULD drink it. It's a very good cheap and readily available source of calcium, and that will help your bones and teeth in later life.
