What's the weather like where you are?

It is below freezing here in San Antonio. It is supposed to reach record levels of cold this weekend. And we're actually supposed to get some snow Sunday and Monday that actually is supposed to stick.

So we've got the heat cranked up and are stocked up with no intention of going anywhere (our roads are not set up for cold weather, and people here drive like maniacs).

Shang is hot, so good taste OP. Although there are a few other both men and women I find hot as well. Shang is one of only a couple I'd actually date, though. He's both hot and would make a decent partner.

Weekend Plans

What is everyone doing this weekend?

We are having record breaking cold and snow this weekend. So I will be staying home and staying warm. My treadmill is still broken so I will be making laps around the weekend.

I also plan on trying to get a flower field started on Animal Crossing. Just got to figure out where.

Yes! I hate this. Don't call your videos "facts" if they are your own personal opinion/speculation. Drives me crazy. Sometimes I'm looking for speculation videos, and that's what I want. Sometimes I'm looking for canon information. I like to know what it is I'm actually watching. Please make your titles/summaries clear so your viewers know what they are going to be watching.

Two things come to mind:
1. There have been a lot of things in the news involving rape lately.
2. People have been stressed in recent months, and when people are stressed, they often turn to their darker fictional likes as a cathartic way of dealing with stress.

This is how I feel about Buffy. That show has meant a lot to me, and I just can't bring myself to give it up. Most of Whedon's stuff really, but especially Buffy.

Sort of the same with Harry Potter. I've already given up the books, but I still read fic sometimes and I still involve the universe in my own fantasies that I make up.

I think it is okay to separate the creator and the creation. Not everyone can do that, but I don't think you have to give up everything a bad creator did as long as you acknowledge the creator was/is an awful person and that you are liking the stuff in spite of who created it. And I'd also say don't buy the stuff so you don't give the awful creator any more money.

My weekend is Friday and Saturday, and tomorrow my wife has a vaccine appointment...3 hours away. So we're having a road trip and then I go back to work on Sunday.

I went swimming today and then bought a fitbit and finally took out the xmas tree. Dear god, leaving it so long was a mistake.

Agreed. If there is rape in a story, it needs to be there for a reason, and it needs to be dealt with properly and with respect to the character(s) who are the victims.

Brrrr. It is supposed to get pretty cold on Monday for us. It is supposed to be between 6 and 20 degrees. 30 and 12 on Sunday. Not looking forward to that. I don't remember it every being this cold here since I've lived here. Hope you can stay warm and safe inside.

Hasn't been over 20 in a week here, and looks like the coming week will be the same. I'm kind of sad because I'm here in Michigan and with all this cold, we don't even have that much snow. I like snow. :(
