Oh this is me too, anytime I get a whiff of fandom drama over something I'm not into I grab a snack and head on over to wherever the insanity is happening and dive on in. It can be a very enjoyable way to spend an evening.

Same, I tried to listen to a few episodes a while back when people recced it to me, but after hearing them get fact after fact wrong on the crime they were talking about, I had to turn it off. If you arent even going to try and get your facts straight--ugh.

I feel like since the plagiarism scandal that the podcast Crime Junkie went through a couple years back, people have been more critical of true crime podcasts in general. MFM is one of the ones that I wouldn't be too sad to see fall in popularity.
