You know, I've heard that comment about the Ourna dub a lot, but not once has anybody bothered to justify it with anything besides "I don't like the voice actors," or "I don't like the dubbed opening." While those are really a matter of opinion that I can't argue with, it strikes me as a stupid reason not to buy the DVDs when they all come with the default option to switch to subtitles if that's the way you swing.

Oh God...I completely understand. I've had to remind my friends numerous times that I can't watch movies like that with them because it makes me physically sick. I've nearly walked out of movies before because a single horrible scene can make me shake and cry. I don't understand how anyone can be entertained by "torture porn" - and I don't mean that in a judgmental, "You must be a sick fuck" way, I mean I truly don't understand what can possibly be entertaining about it. My brain doesn't process it that way. The world is already so full of awful pain and suffering, why the fuck would I pay money to watch it in my free time?

Ugh. Sorry for the mini-rant, but I agree with you SO HARD.
