I flip back and forth between hot black coffee and hot black tea every 6 months or so

I drink iced coffee when I'm in the right mood, usually when it's a really nice day but not actively hot

What tropes do I have? Do they feature enough that someone searching for them won't be disappointed if they click on my fic. Ditto kinks. Ditto characters outside the main group. Ditto pairings. Are any of these things controversial enough that I'll have screaming idiots in my comments if I don't tag for that one-sentence mention? What warnings apply? Maybe this one? Hmm, but does it really, though?

I like coffee both hot or cold, but cold it needs more creamer. Usually I just mix instant coffee into my dark chocolate Ensure since that's pretty much what I live on, and the coffee helps my stupid barely-functioning digestion. Lately I've been dropping a spoonful of ice cream in and making sort of a caffeinated milkshake. :D

As far as caffeinated stuff goes, I also like green tea (particularly with lemon and ginger), and when I worked night shift at a gas station and could fill up a cup for free with my boss's blessing, drank a lot of Diet Coke, which I'd been drinking caffeine-free since I was in my teens because it also agrees with my weird GI tract. Too much caffeine to drink it round the clock now that I have a "normal" job so during the days now I drink coffee (hot or iced depending on the temperature) with creamer/Ensure for some calories, and then I drink decaf Diet Coke all night.

Pretty good. Our pizza turned out great and my sister had fun painting my nails. We walked around a furniture store for like two hours as my sister is still trying to find a couch she loves. We did terribly on Overwatch but I recruited Zucker to my island on Animal Crossing.

Well, I didn't get to ramp up my dragon-type catching in Pokemon Go due to weather not being good for dragon spawns + crappy health, so I'm not going to hit 1500 by the end of the night as I had hoped, but I'm close. And I did get the fairy badge to platinum.

More positive, I did go over to see my family today (first time I'd been in a building that wasn't my own house where I live alone since October last year, honestly was fine with that but it was Mother's Day and all), and the first draft of the current WIP is complete at about 12500 words, and for some reason I don't have the migraine I expected to have, so that's some stuff.

Guess I would count it as "...Eh."

I had to see my mom, which means a 50% chance of fighting, but no fight this time. Otherwise, I’ve been in withdrawal from a fanfic that updates maybe every week or two with a couple thousand words and a lot of big things still to happen. I have other things I’ve been following, but I can’t stop thinking about that one fic, and it’s driving me nuts. Outside of that, though, it’s been a pretty okay weekend.

I occasionally like iced coffee when it is really hot out. We're talking over a hundred. Also, most coffee places make the coffee too hot for my taste and I like to start drinking right away. I usually make my coffee at home, but if I'm ordering from a restaurant I'll probably do iced unless I have a while before I can drink.

Well, I still have the migraine I've had since Thursday. It is a really bad one too, with a bunch of side effects. I had to reschedule a work meeting that was supposed to be yesterday because I wasn't safe to drive. Today it is a bit better than it has been, but it is still there.

So been doing more reading this weekend because I don't want to listen to anything on account of current sound sensitivity.

Just finished The Empress of Salt and Fortune and it's sequel, When the Tiger Came Down the Mountain (both novellas) and just started The Bone Ships.

Not as omniscient as the Akinator, but I get a lot of help out of tag search:

Look for the words that come to mind, with "canonical" unchecked. If the tags exist, it'll find them, and if they've been made synonyms of a more "official" phrasing, you can click each tag to see what it is.

e.g. if I wanted readers to know that my fic was about how great Tony Stark is, I could search "Tony great", that would find "Tony Stark is great", which is a syn of "Awesome Tony Stark."

...every fandom has a list page for all the canonical tags, or at least all the canonical characters + linked relationships, but it's not linked in an obvious way and I can't remember how to get there. Hopefully someone else can jump in and help :/

The Ends of the World, by Peter Brannen. The story of Earth's mass extinctions. I've just emerged from the end-Permian extinction, and it's terrifying (though it took him a while to get to it; there was too much foreshadowing imo.) Written with a surprising amount of humour for such a grim subject. I'm assuming the humour will vanish when we get to the Sixth Extinction.

It was Mother's Day yesterday, so I went round to have lunch with my mum. It went OK and she didn't expect me to stay for too long, which is just as well because I'm in a bad way myself. I found an nice card for her with Aussie animals on it, and she liked that a lot.

Tea, soda, or the occasional cold-brew coffee. Caffeine really doesn't do much for me, though.

How exactly is he an asshole? There are several MCU characters I'd call assholes. Tony, Starlord, Ant-Man at times, Loki. But Steve? Even when he's wrong, he's doing it for the right reasons, trying to help people. I just can't see asshole.

This is how I feel about Tony. I loved him in his movies and in the first Avengers movie. And then his actions in both Ultron and Civil War made me see him in a different light.

Sorry anon, I would be bitterly disappointed. I also wouldn't enter an exchange anyway, because I know my art isn't up to scratch. It just seems pretty egotistical to me to do that, especially as the writer is likely to be putting a lot of effort in.
