Er, just to clarify - it's my intention to make all the secrets left in this thread, so even if they're not marked claimed, they will be made.

I have bad anxiety at work. Lately I've taken to imagining Kim Kitsuragi standing next to me and talking me down when I have a panic attack or get triggered. Works like a charm.

I recently discovered I have auditory processing disorder. I started listening to music with the lyrics subtitled and realized I would rather not know the real lyrics. So many are dumb or shallow.

Disgaea's narrative, dialogue, and characters all annoy me straight to an early grave but I'll still end up putting 100+ hours into Disgaea 6 when it comes out just like I did for each of the five previous numbered games. This franchise is my sickness and I am an addict for stat grinding.

I posted here for advice about falling in love with someone on in a fandom I'm part of. All of your advice was so helpful. Unfortunately things did not work out for a variety of reasons, and I suspect that he has fallen for someone else. It was really upsetting, but I'm in the process of letting it go. It was a really painful time, and I know he's not really the greatest kind of guy for a lot of reasons. He has a lot of problems and he would take a lot of his rage out on me out. And I know he doesn't respect me. But hopefully in time I'll start to enjoy the things I used to love again. For now I just wanted to say, thanks Fandom Secrets.

I'm sorry to hear that anon, it's okay to take the time you need to feel your feelings, process things and slowly start moving on. When a door closes another one always opens, and rediscovering yourself after a long and taxing relationship (and yes this very much includes friendships too) is a wonderful process. You'll be alright, even when right now it doesn't feel quite right yet.

Even after all these years, I still occasionally have nightmares in the 'style' of the levels from Jersey Devil (PS1). The dreams merely feature me getting stuck in various corners of the levels via glitches and not being able to find exit doors. Yeah. That game seriously tripped me out as a kid.

The members of (G)i-dle have been having lots of solo activities which is great for them but with the debut of LIGHTSUM, I am worried (G)i-dle will be abandoned.
The secret: I blame Soojin. I think Cube is just going to move on with their new problem free group rather than deal with her.

I get so angry and instantly distrust a WIP fic when the author suddenly writes in the notes something along the lines of: "Let me know what you guys would like me to write in the next chapter!"
Revealing that there's no plan for the plot and are probably more likely to abandon it, which really sucks when the story actually starts off really interesting and could have the potential for a really good fic.

Jensen Ackles is being cast to play what is essentially the corrupt and morally bankrupt version of Captain America on The Boys.

Kripke said he'd be the Homelander before Homelander, and we all know how off the handle and fucked up he is.

I FINALLY get the character I've been looking for. Also, as a Dean girl, Jensen Ackles is just so pretty, I could stare at his face for hours (lies, 3 minutes tops, bit still! He's aging so well too! Congrats to his wife).

Loki spoilers



It's nice and all that they implied Loki to be bisexual on the show but it's not worth much if, or probably when they'll inevitably give him a female love interest.
Don't get me wrong, bisexual people are just as valid in opposite sex relationships - in real live. In media though, the whole "let's mention a male character is bisexual to satisfy the woke bubble but never actually commit to it by showing it and only ever make him date female characters" thing is far too common.

I hate getting into ships from movies because they seem to die the easiest. Cherik, Hartwin, Arthur/Eames, all these former juggernauts that faded away because of the lack of content (I'd say lack of good content, but that never stopped fandom before).

It's so rare to get comments nowadays and I don't want to complain, but over half the comments on my fics are "I hate omegaverse but-" or "I'd like this smutty oneshot more if it wasn't so focused on sex".

It's porn! You can say you like it without having to specify you're not like other girls! I won't tell anyone!

I made a sockpuppet for my porny fic. It was meant to just be for posting, but people starting commenting and I started making friends. My main account gets absolutely no notice so getting some attention feels nice.

But now I want more. I'm terrified of linking my sockpuppet to my main because then the few people who do know my main will know how freaky I really am, and getting to act a bit more fun on my sockpuppet is way more thrilling than I thought it would be.

I think I'm starting to understand those people who created armies of sockpuppets with fake identities.

Felix from Stray Kids might inspire the stupidest arguments I've ever heard. He's said that he purposefully raises his voice when speaking to fans, his voice is noticeably deeper when he speaks in English and in Finding SKZ, and the members have said that when he's calm and quiet his voice gets really deep. You know. How a voice does.

And fans still insist JYP is making him use a voice too deep and it's damaging his vocal chords, then coo over videos where he's singing far too high for his range and you can literally hear the vocal strain. Just let the man have a deep voice, you utter morons!

I've been re-watching "The Simpsons" lately and something awful occurred to me.

Given Springfield's tendency to go fron zero to mob frenzy in seconds, it wouldn't surprise me if the townspeople participated a Rosewood/Tulsa Massacre of a nearby town that had been covered up and never spoken of again.

(Note to secret maker: The scene of the torch-carrying mob in "Ths Simpsons Movie" is what inspired this secret.)

The lack of LoTR fic genuinely confuses me. It's probably one of the biggest fandoms of all time, and there's almost nothing? Very few aus, barely any plotty extravaganzas, not even the ghost of a kink meme hanging around.

I came here to see Frodo Baggins whumped and railed, and I'm so not having a good time right now

As pretty and well made a lot of indie games are, I'd prefer it if a lot of them were just cool games and not metaphors for mental illnesses of varying kind.
I play games as escapism, not to constantly be reminded of my issues.

[Ferris Bueller's Day Off] This movie is the ONLY movie with a trickster teenager main character, where I understand why the trickster like his friends who follow him. Sloan is obvious. But Cameron has a Ferris hidden in him, and I actually think Ferris' attempts at bringing that out are good for Cameron and sincere.


b!s: Jeanie's intense reaction to Ferris' bullshit didn't click for me until I realized they must be twins. Knowing that I dislike the parents a lot less (because it seems that they must know Ferris is full of shit a little, if Ferris didn't get a car for his birthday).
