I used to love reading but no longer really do it because nothing is new any more. At a certain point you've read, watched, or played through so many stories that you can predict every plot before it happens... and even if you didn't see a certain twist coming, you know where it's going and what tropes will come up next as soon as events happen.

Every story is just someone else's version of one that you've seen before. Same goes for movies, TV, video games, all of it. And that gets pretty boring.
