I would love to see a series on the great empires in Africa (i.e. Axum, Ghana, before/during the time Islam was introduced to the regions, before Europeans came into the region -- to that end, the Asante land and the time before the kingdom -- especially because this is not history that I have learned in school, as a Western educated individual. We learn about maybe the Songhai/Mali empires, for a second, and then that's about it. The richness and the gold and its presence in the Silk Road).

Agreeing with wanting to see the kingdom of Ur ! It would be interesting also to see the history of a place like Indonesia, in its early days. There was a lot of trade connecting people, forming and changing cultures. Hell, let's see something like this for South East Asian countries! This world is so rich and full of stories!
