There was a made for TV movie where Holmes was frozen and got thawed in 1999 I think it was. Watson was a female cop in that one if I remember right. It was pretty bad though. I'd stick to the Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes Adventures tv series. He was by far the best Holmes there ever was.

The only manga I read much at all is From Eroica With Love, and the artist (never spell her name right) tends to go the other way in making all her women attractively butch, so they're hard to tell from the guys.

Don't know DOGS. (I do think that the character would be attractive if they were female, but then I rather like butch women, aesthetically).

SuperJail is about new inventive ways of creatively kill people. That is the point of the show, it's animation for the sake of animation with no gags or even an script, only animators having fun.

It works because it's not plain violence; it's fun, over-the-top, unexpected and totally surprising violence.

Even though I knew that House and Wilson were a homage to Sherlock Holmes (the series was originally going to be about using diagnoses to solve crimes), it took me a long time to get the full joke.

a) A nonsense term taken from a webcomic to replace the word 'wapanese' (whites who want to be Japanese, see also 'wigger.') People found 'wapanese' offensive, I guess, so there was a board filter to take out that word and put in 'weeaboo.' In a case of INTERNET TRUTHINESS, weeaboo became what it had sought to replace.
