If it means anything, I found Genshin to be very good at easing you into the game. Once you get far enough in, it does get very involved, but when you first start playing, the game keeps things pretty basic. Just knowing how to level up a character and a weapon is enough to carry you through the early game and a lot of the mid-level stuff too. Between game tutorials and a few quick google searches I never felt like I was out of my depth, and I'd never played a gacha game before Genshin.
