... okay but as someone who is bi, why would a bi person NOT be interested in a pre-op trans person? I can see something like that being an issue for someone who is straight, but when you're bi, it doesn't matter in terms of physical attraction?

For an individual bi person, it can definitely matter, the same way it might or might not matter to an individual straight or gay person. Attraction is complicated, and can be influenced by conscious or unconscious expectations and baggage. And there are transphobic bi people (and transphobic pan people, omni people, etc. - there is no flavour of queerness that inoculates against transphobia).

Dangerous line to take, branding someone as transphobic just for not being attracted to a trans person. There could be a myriad reasons. Best Judy to mind your own damn business.

Being attracted to men doesn't mean being attracted to *all* men, and being attracted to women doesn't mean being attracted to *all* women, and some people have very specific physical types and/or find certain features attractive on one gender but not the other. Like, if what you're after when you're having sex with a dude is a nice big dick and a flat chest with lots of chest hair to grab onto, your average pre-op trans man probably isn't going to scratch that itch.
