Of the great classics, Mr. Rochester and Heathcliff remain the only true Byronic heroes to me. They're both fucking terrible, just morally absent and abhorrent asses until they literally cannot ass anymore.

Yes I know that's not the definition of byronic hero. But it's the closest one to Byron himself imo.

... but you wouldn't mind if someone else made them for you! As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and I'll try my best to use an appropriate image choice. Just to clarify - it's my intention to make all the secrets left in this thread, so even if they're not marked claimed, they will be made. This time, it might take a little longer than usual depending on how I feel because I've got COVID. A mild case because I've been vaccinated, but it's really knocked me flat and I spend a lot of time resting. I'll do my best, though.

I'll monitor this thread until tomorrow's secret post goes up, so feel free to leave your comments until then!

In the original Muppet show, Kermit can be a real Jerk at times. Secret: I actually prefer that to the kinda sadsack he has become in recent works. Especially that Muppets-The Office show.

The older I get, the less and less I like Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. It's militarism is just horrible, and Sisko's consistent commitment to warcrimes just makes me think the reason he grew a goatee was because he was from the Evil Mirror Universe. Worst Trek Captain of the Classic Era!

Irn Bru doesn't make good lube, writer of a certain Scottish fanfic, it is phenomenal, but not that phenomenal.

I don't know whether my fandom is Irn Bru, or the fanfic, or just a fan of good sex.

I can't help it, and I don't know why, but I just think that Bert from Sesame Street looks like Christopher Meloni's Eliot Stabler in Law and Order:SVU (but only in SVU).

[Yes, I know they did an actual Muppet version of the show, but Bert still looks more like him than his offical Muppet]

I get peeved when a fic isn't posted on AO3. I know some people don't have/don't want an account there, but damn!
I really don't want to read this fic on your made-in-2001 fic site that you thought would look good done in green and yellow camo (and where half the art is missing 'cause the image platform doesn't exist anymore).

(I know, I know. My peevishness is over the top and unnecessary and I need to suck it up. But I still just. Don't. Like it.)

For people who don’t like the song in English, I highly recommend it in Spanish. I just love it so much, but that might also be because I relate a lot to Mirabel.

Regarding her name, I thought Mirabel and Maribel were two different names, not a variation of the same name? I have to admit that her name sounded a little funny to me when I first watched the movie. I saw it in Spanish and thought, “Huh? Isn’t it supposed to be Maribel?”, but I’m used to it now and really like her name.
