Oooh, that's tricky. I mean, I agree with the commenter above, but also... I personally am a coward who is terrified of change AND ESPECIALLY job insecurity after at one point spending 7 years on it (recession hit Michigan earlier than most of the country) so I would be like "oh thank goodness I don't have to change anything". So I can't exactly encourage you not to take it when I know I wouldn't be that brave.

But on a more fully positive note, clearly that means you're valued as an employee, and that speaks well of you. So whatever you choose, I expect you will do fine. =)

Yeah, it is a conundrum. My manager really wants me to stay and has been pushing to get all my demands met. Monday they should have a written offer for me to look over.
