I know people hate songfic, but I wish people would start doing it to classical music again. Classical music gives so much emotional range. Imagine a grief fic paired with the 3 movements of Moonlight Sonata or Hungarian Rhapsody 2 about some climatic conflict! The italian names of the movements would instantly give it elevated cred. In a good writer's hands, it would be amazing no matter the fandom.

I completely agree with this! And it would be a great way to incorporate character traits through classical music also!

But you also made me think of a secret through mentioning songfic, so thanks!
