I'm sick and tired of smug assholes popping in conversations about the Grishaverse to quip "their great wizards are called Greg! LOL" and nothing more. We know. It got a good worldbuilding reason too.
I can't help but imagine them doing the same thing in real life about England. England lost a rugby match? Oh their policemen are called Bobby! Serious anti colonialism essay? Oh their policemen are called Bobby! Is the Queen dead yet? But their policemen are called Bobby! Good Omens event in London? hey you know the policemen are called Bobby here!

This seems especially inspired by some conversations/borderline arguments in the thread for the Grishaverse secret a couple of days ago. Some parts of this secret are word for word the same, especially the Bobby remark(I’m not saying you used someone else’s talking points for the secret when I say it’s almost word for word similar, because that was likely you who said them originally, and it’s not against any rules to have similar talking points if it wasn’t you) .

Not saying that’s a problem, I just can’t help but notice it.
