The good, the bad, and the ugly welcome.

I started working remotely. So far, so good. I am glad I invested in a quality standing desk. I also went to the doctor for a check up. Took them FOUR pokes to find a vein (I told them they roll). Apparently my vitamin D is crazy low so now I have to take a super vitamin pill for three months.

Were you able to see your friend last Saturday?

Man, having time alone is always so damn great. Even a couple hours!

Watched my niblings all day. The littlest would not sleep. We went to the library (which was closed). Doughnut shop (which they decided they didn't want). The park (where the littlest kept trying to take her shoes off). And Dairy Queen (where they were blissfully quiet). Tomorrow I will hopefully get some quiet before family comes over Sunday for a small Easter dinner.

Oof. Right there with you on the vein issues. Bloodwork is almost always a pain in the ass.

Not much new with me, though I did recently get a new purse to replace the one that was falling apart. I've been reevaluating my diet and decided to let some vices lapse. Not sure how it'll go, but I've got some replacements planned (things that have worked in the past, hoping they'll work again).

Sleep. I've got a cold (not COVID thankfully) and really sore throat, but I feel miserable. I'll watch something in the few hours I'm awake I guess. Something that doesn't require my brain, probably youtube things. Mostly I just feel miserable. Had to take a sick day from work. I feel bad I've ruined Easter plans since my sister and brother-in-law can't come if one of us is sick.

I don't mind if people point out typos in general (honestly, I might have even laughed if someone else had done it), but I'm also of the opinion that there's a time and place for everything, and for some folks, there's a time to shut one's whore mouth. Especially if what anon below you said is true. Just appalling.

Usually black in the pants, sometimes brown or navy or grey. Then on top my favorite is red but I have all sorts of colors. Red is my favorite color, though, so I love wearing it when I can.

I have a client who can't seem to understand that he lost his cancellation case because he had the asshole judge that everyone hates and who never grants anything. We offered to appeal for him. The client just keeps scheduling meetings to complain and try to get us to admit we did something wrong, which we didn't. I'm starting to get scared he's going to complain to the bar. We did everything right, he had a difficult case with an awful judge. But it is just exhausting dealing with him.

I donate blood regularly so I am used to get poked. This nurse tried to take blood from side of my elbow, which hurt like hell!

What diet changes are you doing, if I may ask? I need to work on my cholesterol as well. :(

Blue. I basically live in jeans, so from there pretty much any shade of blue for the top makes a good outfit. Plus, blue is generally my best color.

I mean, I usually don't mind when people point out misspelling IF IT'S DONE IN A FUNNY WAY. You can make jokes on someone's mistakes with humor and respect or you can be a piece of shit and be a bully just to make other people talk about you. It's different if twitter user1234 points out a mispelling and it becomes a meme or if JKR, a world known author with millions (?) of followers, mocks an account (and directly insult their benevolent intent) on a social network.
The context that anon provided makes it so much worse. I almost can't believe this is real.

Well, mostly trying to not eat so much junk food (no impulse buys at the counter, no going to the store for the sake of getting junk food), or buy chocolate for the sake of buying chocolate. Not putting sugar in my coffee. Cutting down on eating out, and cutting back on the alcohol. I try to steam or roast vegetables, mostly greens. I bake seasoned/marinated chicken or fish (when affordable). For the craving issue, I got some Kashi cereal and some chocolate flavored almond milk (or whatever chocolate flavored milk substitute is available). Like I said, we'll see how that goes.

I tend to gravitate towards all black clothes. It's easy to throw on a shirt and pants quickly when you don't have to worry about color coordinating.

When I do wear colors, I tend to go for dark Jewel tones or Autumn colors. I wish I can do Pastels or Neons, but my skin tone just won't let me.
