I think it is better-than-even odds that the stories are less interesting than the songs. Taylor is a good songwriter! That's what good songwriters do. (I think the exception is really if the conspiracy theorists are right.)

To the point where I actually cheer in movies when this results in a crash! It is no less than they deserve.

I noticed that it is actually worse in modern movies where the actors are in car on a trailer pretending to be driving, than in those real old movies where they are in a set with rear projection. Like the actors try harder to pretend they are actually driving, only occasionally glancing over, to sell the acting when it is on a soundstage.

I worked out my best spices. Cayenne, smoked paprika, garlic, and fenugreek. Those four spices can be used in various combinations to make anything taste good. Especially fenugreek, that one was a revelation.

Thai is the same author or "Catherine, called Birdy" -- I really loved the heroine for being so smart/clever. I totally get wanting to name your daughter that. Now I want to re-read that book! And maybe even this one.

There were some episodes I really enjoyed early on; I think I might have stopped listening sometime around the episode about Sicilian Oranges or something? I forget. I heard there was an over arching plot going, and frankly, I just really enjoyed the whole "weird thing of the week town radio vibe". I also heard Carlos got a voice actor? I only wanted to enjoy Cecil and those weird times Desert Bluffs crossed over.
