6. I definitely feel you on that. I have been watching it go on for almost a year now, and it sickens me every time I look at joining a new game and see certain people playing. It's enough to make me not join. I have to look at the players now before I even join a game, and if I do not see certain people playing, I rush to join so I can beat them in.

It isn't "oh Im taking rp seriously hur". It's, "Hey how about giving other people the chance to play with you guys? You look like you're having fun."

Or it could be that I want to see someone else playing those characters for once.

Word. I intentionally don't play the same character in more than one RP because of that. Seeing the same [insert character] acting exactly the same way in multiple RPs and pairing up with the same other character is boring.

I get so jealous. Not because I want to be part of one of these circles, but because someone I desperately care about is involved in one, and I loathe them for taking that person away from me. I feel like I'm the 'bit on the side' now, to be spoken to or RPed with when the circle remain unavailable. That's not really how it truly is, I'm fully aware of my own illogical overreaction, but I just can't shake feeling that way.

I don't want to be part of the clique - I just want them to go away.

For 11, one's two syllables and one's three! Yah-oh-ee as opposed to yah-whee. That, and most English speakers tend to stress like YAH-whee, when... there isn't really any stress at all, 'cause Japanese doesn't -have- accented syllables. *dies*

This would be the reason I've carried over the terms from my American-fandom ficcing and just say "slash" and "femmeslash." You can't say it wrong (unless you REALLY try), nobody's going to get all mad about using the "wrong term," and it's got a nice sound to it. :D

(I mean, come on. Make up your minds; is it shounen-ai, yaoi, or bl, bumsex, boysmex, or something entirely different? I mean, I always thought that shounen-ai referred specifically to teenaged boys. Seeing the way it's thrown around, clearly I was wrong.)

It's yah-oh-ee, each syllable separate, 'cos it's an acronym for yama nashi, ochi nashi, imi nashi, which means, "no climax, no resolution, no meaning." ... Ironically. XD

14. You know, I can see Paradisa secrets pissing off people who love the RP and hate the RP....

But wank has really sunk to a new low when Paradisa secrets start peeving people who have nothing to do with the RP. Seriously, you people are only doing yourselves a disservice by giving your RP community a bad rep with uninvolved people like me.

Although... now that I went and looked at the comm, I'm a bit put-off by it as is. I'll give you that everything is very pretty, and I don't mean any offense to the players, but mods... "Panfandom RPG"? Seriously, you're not allowed to be pretentious when your application is so tiny, and, on top of it all, I'm looking through the applications post and am seeing that ABSOLUTELY NO ONE HAS BEEN REJECTED. EVER.

Jesus, do applications even get read anymore? Are there even standards anymore, or is having a huge cast list all that matters nowadays? Now I see what those secrets a while back were talking about. That is, both the one about short apps being a pisser and the one about bad players in your RP. Geez.

Anyway, don't want to cause wank myself, so in case anyone responds, just letting you know I won't be responding back. :]

It's pretty sad when you let a positive message get to you and that would of probably been the last you've ever heard of the game here.

I don't believe the mods were being pretendous either, as much as as certain other RPs are 'Original Characters' and was formally something else entirely.

There's always room for improvement in a positive setting if one is accepted. Some people aren't comfortable with long applications nor are they grammar nazis. If critiqued properly and are all civil beings about these matters, instead of going about in a roundabout way, we wouldn't have this wank to begin with.

A small application can say more words than a long one that goes on for two pages with needless details that should be discovered instead of told.

Sometimes, three paragraphs can mean more than an entire essay.

11. You sure that's the one, true, way of pronouncing it...? I was told quite a few times that it was "yow-ee". It made sense to me at the time, because isn't ao pronounced like "ow" in Japanese?
